Russia will build better houses for the people of this country
This report is biased in that it says very little about what France did by colonizing what would become the Central African Republic, who arbitrarily drew their borders without any native African consent like most post-colonial African country boundaries. But it is not wrong to suggest that Russia is a new, neo-colonial force in the country. Countries like China and Russia want their influence in Africa as the West has moved out. I hate to see these Third World nations pick their poison just to stay afloat. It should be like those formerly poor nations like those in the Middle East like the United Arab Emirates that were able to lift them up off of their own bootstraps with little to no foreign intervention. The C.A.R. is actually a very resource rich nation and it should be able to sustain itself once it sorts out its own internal struggle. Central Africans definitely deserve better.
