  1. buckle your seats and watch Botswana become a singapore, in innovation index its top 5 , number of patents , innovation hubs are buzzing . manufacturing is growing poeple are woken …watch the next 10 years as we take a quantum leap

  2. Botswana GDP is only around $7,000. Not $19,000. Plus a lot of your information is outdated. Stop getting information from google. Botswana is no longer one of the richest countries in Africa. Among so many other things in this video are wrong

  3. 4:22 this map is just pathetically wrong. The Boer republics were not located in Mozambique (which was Portuguese), they were located in modern-day South Africa. The use of modern borders is bad enough but to place the Dutch somewhere they categorically were not is hilariously wrong.

  4. The main reason sub-saharan nations are impoverished is that they are still controlled by Britain,France,Gemany and also the United States who select their presidents and dictators and make them prioritize the West at the detriment of the the African people

  5. People keep saying that colonialism is the reason why Africa is poor but that's like saying that one video game caused a disaster for the whole industry. Colonialism is bad and it brings problems but corruption is far worse since it's a problem from the inside of the country

  6. This could be every African country if our leaders were not so incompetent and selfish, using resources to enrich themselves so they can retire rich while the people starve.

  7. a country shouldn't need to dig for diamonds to make its people successful. pretend diamonds dont exist, what would then make the country a success? it shouldn't ever be about money. money is the root of evil.

  8. The commentator is talking nonsense. He is still condensing attitude. I think no white man can be objective in analysing the situation in Africa. He omits telling the story of the western nations in being instrumental in the mess in which Africa find itself. Any African leader who attempts to develop his country the western world consider him as a dictator and collude to destroy him. History is littered with such cases. Look at the Rwanda genocide he referred to. The western world was responsible for it. The killing of Patrice Lumumba is also the case in mind I can name many other incidents. The western world hasn't come over the thinking that whites own Africa.
