Billie Eilish Admits She’s Had “a Lot of Good Sex” This Year
Billie Eilish Says She Will Never Discuss Her Sexuality Ever Again
Billie Eilish is happier than ever.
The 23-year-old provided a cheeky update on her love life during her eighth annual interview with Vanity Fair in which she reflects on her past year by seeing how she answered the same questions in previous years.
While giving thumbs up or thumbs down indicating whether or not she achieved her goals for this year, Billie gave a thumbs up when her 22-year-old self said she’d want to “be having good sex.”
She elaborated a bit later in the video.
“I’ve done nothing but make friends all year and gotten so close with people that I wasn’t with before and became friends with people I used to be friends with again,” Billie shared. “It’s just been a year filled with friendship which, honestly, even though I was saying a lot of things that I want to do, that was the real…that was the thing that I wanted to do.”
“I really did it, and it was awesome,” she continued. “And, yes, I’ve had a lot of good sex, so…you’re welcome, Billie!”
Billie’s candid remarks about her sex life come two months after she declared that she would “never” share intimate details about her life again.
“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life,” she told Vogue in October. “Ever, ever, ever. And I hope that they never will again. And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again. And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again.”
The “Ocean Eyes” singer went on to explain that she doesn’t always consider that her comments tend to make headlines.
“I guess I also underestimate that things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world,” she said. “That’s so unnatural. We’re all babies. We’re all little kids growing up and learning ourselves.”

Billie’s desire to cut back on talking about her personal life in interviews came several months after she opened up about first realizing she was attracted to women while writing her hit song “Lunch.”
“I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after,” she told Rolling Stone in April. “I’ve been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn’t understand—until, last year, I realized I wanted my face in a vagina.”
That being said, discussing her sexuality was never part of the plan, but things changed when she was outed during an interview with Variety.
“I was never planning on talking about my sexuality ever, in a million years,” Billie told Rolling Stone. “It’s really frustrating to me that it came up.”
