  1. This is not true. I do a lot of things including that and I am successful at it. Everyone can play football but still watch games and go to stadiums and footballers make millions from it.

I usually don't comment on social media but regarding what Vusi said, i wish to inform and share with all who don't understand Vusi because of being emotional rather than knowing you paid to listen to truths from his business experience with my painful experience about his truthful analytical explanation to the innocent looking woman entrepreneur. I registered a company to provide entrepreneurial talks and training. I had love for helping youths to awaken to the sphere of great thinking. I had trained students acrosss Junior and Senior schools. At least within 2 years myself and my team of 3 had imparted over a million lives in about 6 schools. Sadly, the Ministry of Education passed a regulation to stop all external institutions or individuals to come to interact with students. Not even our recognition could exempt us from this pain. We had to find a place to either rent or seek sponsorship to train others who would come to us. Unfortunately after a few positive response, majority of our target couldn't pay to attend our class because they have no money and most parent dont let their children attend not-a-school trainings. The lesson i learned is dont think your current success in someone's industry or on someone's network will continue to feed you as job. Policies can fire you although you are your own boss! Never be too confident because you see growth when you dont control the base. Rather, direct attention to your own location of training outside so that you build your own influence at your location and help parents and the children or youths develop trust for your trainings at your centers.

  4. He is right and he also said she needed to control the value proposition and intellectual property. I think that's where we can go wrong after alot of rejection we can be too grateful there's interest in our business but we just need to protect our product and diversify who we deliver to.

  6. You are talking stuff i do not know. Where is all this explanation to get this ..I do not remember all this learning, not once teaching any of it. Soooo, have you spoken to rich man poor man about, bs.vs entrepreneur ? He thinks a business is not on this entrepreneur thing. Ohh boy… don't you write out a contract and a trademark for your idea ? Isn't she also teaching that as well ?

  7. Fair enough, but no need to be rude about it. She is a small/self employed business, and potentially she could be teaching in schools what you are teaching in your seminars. You did once complain that schools don’t teach you about “key man” insurance?? Maybe she can teach some of that.

  8. I do not agree with him. First, she identified the need for it. If the schools could do it, they would have been doing it themselves. The schools are not as innovative as Vusi thinks or assumes. I went to school in the 1970s, and the schools have always taught economics and commerce, but never entrepreneurship. Schools have never bothered with teaching entrepreneurship skills, which explains why this woman identified the need for it, and started doing it.

    I once did a business plan for a GROW initiative that does exactly what the lady is doing for a summer/holiday school program, and the business plan actually had a scaling strategy.

    The size of the market of teaching entrepreneurship to school children is huge because there are millions of school kids, on a year to year basis. The size of the market is not limited. Her potential competitors are not the schools themselves. Her possible competitors are other people who may decide to start teaching entrepreneurship.

  9. I think she has a great business. Schools don't have the resources to teach core subjects, let alone Entrepreneurship. But you're right she needs to have control over the audience and her teachings. She could grow to be a big corporate which goes to schools to teach entrprenuership. Like corporates partner with other firms to do specialized onboarding, auditing, consulting. Thank you for your lesson, but there are seeds of a business there. Could you plase share the full video, I'm sure you gave her gold advice.

  10. What he just explained is how Amazon bankrupted many sellers on the platform.
    Whatever was selling a lot, Amazon went directly to the sellers supplier in China, rebrands them as Amazon brand and sold it lower than the original seller that brought it to Amazon.

    Amazon bought huge amounts hence had lower costs than the original sellers.

  11. Business is removing yourself and still can operate. Thats how business works. Thats why a-lot of investors don’t like to have business because of scalability issue and also managing. If she wants to build a business. She should go to digital and lease the education lessons to the schools. Now thats scalability.
