The forests in Malawi are getting fast depleted because most Malawians rely on charcoal or firewood for cooking and other energy needs. One of the biggest natural forests, the Dzalanyama Range which forms the natural western frontier between Malawi and Mozambique bears the brunt of this practice.

Mmmm this is a sad scenario.If these people had employement they would divert there attention from deforestation.We grew up when our fathers were employed and the forest were dark with vegetation.
