Tatale is Ghana's spiced plantain pancakes. It is made with overripe plantains…plantain is one produce item that you never say never to in Ghana. Never throw away ripe plantains in a Ghanaian's home…no matter how overly ripe😄 For your tatale to bw perfct you want it to be very overipe and of course that means your pancakes are sure to be sweet. The spice added gives a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. It is served with Bambara beans and you need to try it to understand.

Hello would u recommend mixing up this plantain batter and storing in the fridge to be used later? I have lots of good over ripe plantains and l am wondering how to store them for future cooking pls. Blessings

I made this with blended oats instead of corn flour because i was on a diet and it came out great. Also I fried with vegetable oil instead of palm oil.
