@Dem_bonez

Fascinating

@NgocNguyen-tk9dx

Sorry for your lose dude

@LeBongFairy

I always thought growlithe was more of a german shepherd as well as the other inspirations. It was used interchangeably with policedogs, and have that overly large body with perked ears.. was also very worried(educationwise) about poochyena making an appearance in here, despite its name, it's mostly a hyena which is closer to the feliformes

Also man… Sorry about your little one. It's hard when something like this comes up so fast

@lungitylunglung

the goat

@riotking77

This one’s for all the good boys and good girls 💜✨🥲

@ilovewillowrosenberg

This video was really, really great. The amount of research you put in is impressive. And I want to thank you for what you said at the end of the video. I lost my cat this summer when she was 21 years old, she had been with me my whole life. She was family.

@PrometheusSleeps

thank you for another great video, im truly sorry to hear about your loss, the card is a very beautiful gift, thank you for sharing with us, got me all teary eyed over here ;-;

@PrometheusSleeps

36:20 the history of the dachshund is actually quite sad, I mean not the bred to hunt badgers part, but the way they were seen and treated in America during WW2 when it was used as a symbol in illustrations of Germany, i won’t get into detail but the poor dog breed was getting shade and worse for things that was not at all its fault or in its power, just smth i learned recently that this made me think about

@PrometheusSleeps

idk how you did it, but ive literally been thinking about the real world history and process of domesticed animals (mostly cats and dogs) nonstop for WEEKS bc i just kinda started to realize how fascinating it is as a concept recently, and NOW YOURE HERE WITH ANOTHER POKEMON BANGER THAT RELATES TO THAT DIRECTLY. surely you can read my mind or smth 😮

@unripetheberrby6283

Hm, since the Rockruff line is based of on wild wolves more than any other, probably them. Maybe it's a challenge between it and if there's a couple others that's strong in "wolf" too. 🤔

@andrewoliver7095

Legit excellent video. Also, Krillick, my brother, if you ever need to say a Chinese word in a future video, please hit me up, and I'll show you how to pronounce it properly 😅
Fantastic work!

Edit: I made this comment before the end of the video. I'm so sorry for your loss, brother.

@fluteman4666

Chihuahuas are not from South America, they're North American. Specifically from Chihuahua, Mexico

@patricktarver4573

Im keep commenting for the algorithm i like this stuff but i do wish you went a little more into data than making generalizations like fox being dogs, the domestication process. Also be careful with the AKC, theyre behind the research by about a decade.

@patricktarver4573

Foxes are not canine. Foxes are vulpines. Their genus is canidae, but they are not canines. Vulpus and canis are a genus, canidae is the family of both. Foxes are not dogs or wolves.

@patricktarver4573

Dogs go back 30k years. We found a dog, not a wolf, with a mammoth bone placed in its mouth post mortem in the Czech republic. But we think wolves evolved into dogs in different timelines depending on where they were located

@brofessorbon

Hugs all the damn hugs.

@sarcasm-aplenty

Lucario is also based on a jackal

Not even gonna hold ya; I’m at a Domestic Violence recovery center with my dog, I couldn’t survive it without her, and this video is so comforting and fun to watch with her so thank you 💖

@hellofellowbotsss

doggies! 😀

@hi_shay

watching this while babysitting my evil son (catsitting my cat who lives with my grandparents (i lost custody (a.k.a. one of my housemates is allergic to everything))) as a power move

@oxishimaruxo

15:36 an undocked Doberman really does resemble its Weimaraner lineage but we are so used to seeing docked ears and cropped tails

@oxishimaruxo

That's going into my long form background playlist. Any plans for podcasts from the audio for your longer videos?

@FairyPhantasia

In a wise man's words

HAIL YEAH🎉

@lovezuuu

These videos are absolutely nutty, didn’t think I’d be studying the the first dog pokemon via the use of real life domestication of dogs. I think this was the first time in existence those words were used 😂

@tkg353

Cory got a PhD

@andrewharris1344

I think a video focusing on Alien Pokémon would be cool not like ultra beast but Pokémon like Clefairy and elgyeem. Or have alien origins in their designs like Saybleye would be cool. Maybe give your thoughts as to why you believe they would show up on earth.

@squidwater6700

Perfect! I just finished the Ultra Beast video on my run this morning and was trying to find something for next week

@mewsartworld

I have been waiting for this vid 🤩 curious if there is gonna be one about cats and other pets 👀👀
Also, 14:12 I have been traumatized recently, this was too soon 😭😭

Edit: a sad, but very beautiful ending 💕

@gildedgems

34:56 no one likes furfrou… And then there's me, literally a poodle breeder, giddy any time I can catch one
