I can't understand why most opposition to Odinga comes from Kenyans. This is not about Kenyan politics. This is about selecting a seasoned politician who understands the challenges our continent is facing. The debate has shown us ,very clearly, that the other two candidates are no match for Odinga.
Furthermore,let's not forget that Kenyan internal politics aside, very few African politicians can match the knowledge and the experience Odinga has. He was once a Prime Minster of Kenya, a major African country.He commands the respect of the international community.He was tested and proven in one of the most challenging political environments in Africa.
His Djiboutian counterpart,by contrast,is seeking to go from being a foreign minister of a small country of barely one million people to becoming the chairperson of a continent of one billion people.
Experience is of the essence here, and Odinga is the clear favourite !

This was so unfair to those who advertised the job responsibilities of the chair the two don't know the problem facing Africa because they have not been privileged with such high international responsibility maybe the chair person required some international experience to because Raila seems to be alone on the debate stage addressing matters his rivals have no idea
Raila has the answer this other candidates are discussing things which work in a country the question was for how the chair will advance forward Raila speech is what Africa needs to renegotiate the financial architecture so that Africa has an equal level on the borrowing. Because any development done in Africa requires funds but with the old architecture of 12% while our competitors take the same on 3% is very discriminating.
