  1. So I'm learning that since I stopped trying to fit in and just wear the clothes I love how I love to wear them I have accidentally become stylish?? I expected more judgement doing this but instead I've gotten more compliments at school. So me brave!

  2. My hair IS my hair accessory ❤ i have baby dreads, and they are full of beads and cuffs.

I need glasses, so i get trendy ones like loveheart shaped or brightly coloured.

My style is boho hippy earthy 🌎 so a lot of my clothes look worn out or worn in. I love to layer or wear flowy fabric.

I do a lot of barefoot walking whenever i can. But when i do have to wear shoes, i go for novelty socks 🎉

I wear chunky novelty earrings and love retro stuff, like my tamagotchi pair or gumball machines ❤

  3. I would argue that dressing deliberately to fit a certain curated aesthetic, even aesthetics such as alternative and counter culture, is inherently conformist as it removes individual preferences in favor for what is trending in that subgroup, and as alt style is becoming the norm for most gen z, Göth makeup and dyed hair is becoming the new basic.

  4. Wow, I love this video! Finally I found someone on Youtube who has the same opinions about interesting style! I love layers, texture, jewellery, hats, accessoires, extraordinary shoes, historybounding, goth, steampunk, thrifted and selfmade things. Most people I have seen only talk about elegance, "less is more", expensive brands etc.

  5. (second comment for extra engagement loll) sooo glad you mentioned style contrast right after my last comment! im a confusing contradictory mess because of so many reasons and it's awesome to see people encourage breaking bounds of fashion genre! i'd been wanting to do that kind of thing just with artistic projects too (like, how do i mix making a webcomic with an rpg game and include rhythm elements for example??) just because thats when crazy unique and cool stuff can be found!!

  6. i like this channellll i like you (:
on the topic of color palettes, im so glad that you mentioned aspects of color choice beyond "pick a color that makes your skin look good and then accent it with neutrals." i love to go crazy with colorblocking in my outfits whenever possible (hence username) and there's such an art to picking colors that are unconventionally paired but are still pleasing.

and when pastels became trendy….. i started hating them lol i know, im a total contrarian, but i was a pastel alt goth before the sanrio girls took over in like 2017 and they lowkey gave me a distaste for the color scheme because of how corporate it began to feel with all the "sanrio gaming hauls" and stuff like that. i love pink, i do really love lavender especially and at least that wasnt as focused on. but man that movement really shook me up lmao i went from pastel dream to neon decora vomit overnight and sorta havent looked back

  7. As someone who is tragically unstylish I loveeee this video. I definitely won’t venture away from my tried and true blue jeans and t-shirt combo but I thoroughly enjoy seeing people expressing themselves so beautifully.

  8. I'm so inspired by videos like this but I feel too self conscious to wear in a very distinct way. I even own clothes that I love but stands out and I'm really struggling with wearing them outside. It's such a shame cause watching all the amazing pictures here just make me wish I could be as bold as well and not be afraid of standing out.

  9. I love the examples you show because they have such variety. Watching your videos makes me instantly want to go thrifting but I already have so much stuff I just need to spend a few days playing in my wardrobe and reorganizing.

I seen you mention socks in another video and I've always hated socks. I am not a sock girly, but now I feel like that's just what I need to subtly take my style to the next level.

Thanks for sharing your insights and perspectives on fashion with us!

Edit: seeing all the comments of everyone singing your praises and feel a sense of bonding and community. I love it. So happy I subscribed ❤

  10. This is such a beautiful video, you talk full of genuine appriciation for all the people's individual styles, you don't promote over-consumption and you really make that point that style and beauty has nothing to do with body shape <3 I love all the examples you're showing, this must have been so much work! Thank you

  11. Takes off: vintage custom updated half hat, pigtails, hand restored 1920-1940’s clothes, shoes, custom jewelry,
.. It’s shit like this that makes me change my purposely not mainstream “woke culture cool” look and know that what the F*CK. If you’ll excuse me now, I’m going dumpster diving in dump nearest the Amish Community in hopes of throwing off the bullshit. You’ll find my whole wardrobe burning in the streets.

  12. I dress very minimally but my personal style favorites are quality natural fibers and simply making an effort. I tend to dress up more than most people but that's not difficult to do in Utah. 😅 Yours are all great! (Except wearing sunglasses which I believe is bad for your health.)

  13. best example video!!! i love how you included style inspiration of people from different ages, ethnicity and body shapes instead of just showing typical model pictures! it really highlights that fashion and style depends on the person and anyone can look good in their own way! thank you❤❤❤

  14. hi ladies, I recently did a pixie cut and need advices, I never know what to do with my hair, they look the same everyday, I need some hairstyles ideas ! If you have any please send help <3

  15. Texture and layering are the most elevating and eye catching things to me, I feel like a lot of clothes nowadays especially things made from polyester lack texture and rely too heavily on patterns
