  1. The Benin never fought anyone in Eko-Lagos! The Benin founded the FALLOW/EMPTY PLAIN/ LAND of Eko, period! Please get your narration straight! Isale- Eko was the first nucleus founded by the Benins before it expanded as seen today!!!!!

  2. Lagos belongs to Yorùbá, because Edo captured it doesn't mean it belongs to them. The same way British doesn't own Lagos. Aworis have been living there with other Yorùbá before Edo came. Go far back before Edo came, who are those living in Lagos before Edo came? Or no one was there?

  3. You missed out that the British were mad at the Ijebu kingdom for being the middlemen in trade coming and going out of Lagos. Because of that, they started a war called the British Ijebu war.

  4. Portuguese people kidnapped Yoruba people and took them to Brazil. Actually more than 50% of brazilian population is afro descendant and 30% is Nigerian descendant. Lagos was founded by Portugese people. Lagos is a portuguese word that means Lakes. Brazil was colonized by Portugese. Many people speaks Yoruba language in Brazil. Afro brazilian culture is very strong. Brazilian Government criated laws do preserve afro brazilian culture.
