Nice, A video of Costa Rica's best world cup performance in 2014 world cup squad would be nice also . That squad surely suprised everybody.
If essien play. They could legitimately win it all. Or at least win the semis
Ghana were robbed
Now the record is broken by Morocco by being the first African team to reach the semifinals, since 2015 Ghana national team has declined massively
Loved that team…..the great "what if" in African Futbol. What if Essien had been healthy? They may have gotten to the final.
Most people hate Uruguay esp Suarez
I knew Ghana would lose when we had the penalty, Ghana is trash at penalties, we have lost so many African championships due to penalties and set pieces. I knew Gyan would miss and I said it and my mum slapped me . The Whole of Ghana was shaking that night.
I was so depressed after that game. I had to take a shower immediately. I stood there for 2 hours. I literally lost track of my existence. 😂😂😂😔
Proud Ghanaian 😍
A classic case of the bigotry of low expectations.
That too many 'nuetrals' were behind this team as a representation for Africa when the same was not said for say South Korea making it to the semi's in 2002, shows how race based their motivation was.
Ghana were a good team, and they did not deserve Suarez's hand ball. But they also deserve to be appreciated for themselves and not for too many white people (mostly) wanting a 'black team' to do well.
Ghana decime que se sienteeeee
🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾
Ghana may have another golden generation, they’ve gotten new players
ugh love ghana where i'm from wish Suraez didn't do that ugh
I still haven't forgiven Suarez….should I meet him today, i owe him a slap
Yea curse suarez
that game was all time best World Cup match
There were a lot of leaders in that team. Gyan, Andre, Mensah, Muntari and Appiah. Everyone was playing their part well. Also, U-20 team who had won world cup that year pushed the senior players to be better. I hope we get back to those years.
Milovan Rajevac has been announced as Ghana’s coach once again. Hopefully this time Ghana make it to the Semi’s of the World Cup 🙏🏾🇬🇭
Thank you, guys
ghana v uruguay aka the real reason why i loathe suarez. and i'm not even ghanaian
Ghana is my favourite African country
streets will never forget gyans season at sunderland
Imagine Ghana vs Netherland in the semi final
Well if it wasnt for manuel neuer, we would have lost against them in 2014
suarez fans can go to hell
To this day I dont understand why that rule isn't changed in soccer. A very clear goal (LIKE BALL TRAVELING IN THE BACK OF THE NET) stopped illegally, should not be downgraded to a penalty but should be counted. Kinda like goaltending in basketball. That would be like rewarding free throws instead of counting the basket. Why the hell advantage the bad guys by giving them a chance to erase a clear goal by a penalty. So stupid. This one hurt so so so bad.
This video makes me emotional as a Ghanaian
Talk about Algeria
And to think everybody except ghana knew what would happen during abreu's penalty kick hahaha
Yes. Can you do one on the history of the yugoslavia national team of the 1990s in terms of how strong the team would have been if not for the sanctions.
I was in Turkey and me and my family where shouting for Ghana to beat Uraguay.
Could you talk about the 2014 Costarican side that almost got to the Semis?
For me suarez is a hero
He would do anything to win
ANYTHING
ABREU ABREU ABREU
And Abreu is still the GOAT for that penalty
How was the Uruguay game controversial? The free-kick before the handball shouldn't even have been called.
Can you do the US team of 2002? They nearly reached the semi-final too, and had a handball call on Torsten Frings not given
was in a pub for the game against australia i think a day after or the same day as england played algeria?
do remember clear as day that a guy said ""it's fast but it's naive football"….literally there was england hoofing in a 4-4-2 and ghana are doing a rotating midfield with creative fullback roles….people can't see what they dont expect to see. great team. even argue they got real unlucky in 14 as well. almost beat germany, unlucky brooks unmarked header and boye og against portugal.
