Fair Isle Mega Compilation Season 2 (part 4)

Venice is the greatest city we’ve been to in the world. I don’t think we thought that before we sailed there although we had been many times over the years and enjoyed it. Nothing compares with sailing into Venice lagoon on your own boat. The only problem with it is once you’ve anchores your boat off Burano no other anchorage in the world will…

@avidviewer1

That was absolutely fascinating, and very wonderful. Thanks so much!

@bugbunny1306

I think your zipper would do well with wax
and the slide slide with silicone grease.

@Alex000113

Nice revisiting Venice, a bit of a shock seeing jackets and hats. Appreciated your relaxed enjoyment of the area. Seemed very welcoming.

@reb4898

Excellent video…thank you

@medhome6720

This is a good video. But as far as being rewarded for good content by Youtube you are on a hiding to nothing. At the time of writing you have only 3 K views, 29 commments and 70 K subscribers. Youtube is calibrated taking into account American content producers, such as people showing themselves restocking their fridge, or showing themselves arranging their make-up tubes; all with a million subscribers and a million views per video. Advertisers are duped because the type of viewer who may be interested in their products are generally not within the interest area of these silly million view videos. I do not normally write comments – what's the point, but it is definitely not a level playing field vis-a-vis the U.S and the rest of the world. It has to be said.

@jeddaselke

are those boats, barges?

@michaelwake5600

Hi Steve, how did the 4g WiFi via mobile work out? I think I remember it doesn’t?

@SteveButterworth-n9m

Great film… thanks!… but why did it go from 20,000 to 10?…

@howardnewson7506

Great film, loved the swans and sound track. Some of the cinematography is stunning. Thank you for sharing.

I am currently reconfiguring my saloon galley spaces. I have an area 9 x 13 ft to work with, plus under the deck shelves to a 14'2" beam. Your galley countertops look extremely limited. How do you find it?

Hi S & J, your videos have inspired me to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the number of wires on my vessel. Being a minimalist that excites me big time

@davidrichardson5163

Another wonderful video. Rowing the gondola looks very similar to the ancient art of sculling a dinghy – using a single oar at the stern of a rowing boat – every boatman should learn to scull!

@firstlast1047

Spraying the zipper of the bike bag reminds me. I live in a very hot and humid country. If i don't exercise the plastic zippers, including my pants, the zippers swell. I use WD40 to loosen 4:20

@dougmarder

This so deserves to be available in 4K (or at least 2K). You two had the best lockdown.

@mskogly

We were in Chioggia (and Venice) in 2022, on land. Such an interesting area to explore! Would love to visit by sailboat.

@WilliamBell-t8k

Substitute the word 'film' for 'movie' and all will be well….

@rolanddunk5054

Hi, a great video,the ship you passed looks to be a dredger that pins itself to the bottom with the two long legs and then works around itself from that position. Thank you.Roly🇬🇧.

@geodesy2009

Wonderful film as usual. Fair Isle sets the standard.

@Zeb1432

Good one..!!!*( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡° )*

@OnkabonkaMujango

Was that balsamic vinegar Steve, or balsamic glaze? I like the glaze, I could drink it straight from the bottle.

@wrbouwman7287
