My mouth is watery😂
I tried your recipe.. It came out good only that the kenkey was hard..
1. I didn't let it ferment Super well cos my hubby can't handle our level of fermentation.
2. The maize flour I could get where I live wasnt as smooth as back home.
Could these be good reasons why it came out hard?
Apart from the hardness, the texture itself wasn't bad…it had potential…I will try again and ferment it well.. probably use yellow maize flour as it is smoother..
Will update
Eat it because it's my favorite
Malleable Madam.
Your kenkey is kenkeying.
Thank you dear❤.
Pls where can I get the fish to buy
Thanks mum. How about the kenkey water? I'd like to drink it. Learnt it's good too!
Please use wet bounty to wrap your kenkey to warm it up in the microwave instead of plastic bag. I love your kenkey
The first time I tried making Kenkey, it turned out to be hard bcos the video I used didn’t mention leaving the mixed dough overnight. I’ll give it a try with your overnight trick and hopefully it turns out soft.
How long do you need to ferment the dough?
I bought the corn dough they sell in the fridges in the African shop? Do i need to mix it with water and ferment it for a few days? Or shojld I buy white maize meal and do it that way as so many recipes calls for the white maize meal. Im confused, i dont want to waste my ready made corn dough. Ive attempted kenkey once but it was missing the sour taste because i think the corn dough isnt fermented. Do i need to ferment it first?
The dough did you add cassava dough
What’s the name of the fermented corn you used , so that I can find it in the shop please?
My favorite 😊
This is really Authentic Ga kenkey. This is the right thing. No cassava dough. Welldone
Ghanadonia foods traditional unionists
Don’t like it soft. I like to slice it-:))
I wish I could eat kenkey every day. My all time favourite dish. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I'll definitely try it. Make the dough, leave it overnight ❤❤❤
So what is the purpose of letting it sit overnight?
Sameria Nanaaba recommended you to me n I’m very happy
Thank you so much for everything
I love how your Kenkey came out. Please the uncooked part you added must it always be dried to achieve a soft kenkey. I did some but the uncooked one was in the fridge so it was soak was with a little water . I added to the cooked one moulded it n cooked it for 2hrs 30 minutes but it was hard .
Can I use a dough that is wet to make kenkey instead of a dry one?
Me! I like kenkey paaa, that's why I'm here today, Thank you for taking your time to make the video.
God bless you
Hweeeee Asikafuooo na di dokunoooo I LOVE kenkey and I would eat kenkey everyday 😂
Thank you so much for your thorough explanation
How did you do the fermented corn please
Great recipe! Anyways, I loved Madam for her authenticity 😍
Is it appropriate to add cassava to it
Why I why did I bump into this video when I am starving?
This looks so similar to Tamales just a variation of them. Looks delicious too❤
😋😋🥰👌
When I was in Ghana I eat kenkey all the time not because am broke but is favorite
I have already gained some weight on seeing your foods in the video.
Why should the dry part be more than the one for the banku? won't it be hard later, because most of the kenkey sellers use more for the banku part than the dry part.
i will keep watching your channel, thanks
Please why do you put corn and black pepper inside
Ayekoo and thank you for this authentic otimi(Ada)- that you made without wrapping in plastic. Thank You. Fact- The BPA in the cooked plastic gives cancer. Breast cancer is full of BPA, which is released into the food when the plastic is heated. Here in the US it is impossible to find kenkey without plastic.
I just love my kenkey and thanks for sharing
Please that's not tsofi, that's turkey. Tsofi is actually the turkey butt.
