My mom only allow us to eat broilers, those big broilers so my mum save the head and feet for herself when we were little though but now we all fight for it and the head is just giveaway but we eat it. My dad eat the gizzard too but I love it so I always use some tricks to have it and apologize to dad later
I see you used fresh oil for when you wanted to fry the chicken, the plantain and the chin-chin, so I'm just wondering, what did you do with the used oil from each?
I'm fasting oo 😂
From Ghana, we do eat the chicken feet but be sure to eat both, because one represents richness and wealth and the other represents poverty
Next time, try adding time seasoning to the meat instead of stew . And you don't cover stew to fry not african. Love you.
Zee you forgot to add the amstel malt..
It is usually eaten alongside with the chin chin
Please can you make a video on how to salt and season food properly? Thanks
Zeeliciu you make me remember Christmas in my grandma house
Yes we eat the leg and the head also 😂, I love your videos
We fry the meat first then use the oil to fry the tomatoes 😋
Yeah,my mum do that also.Saving the gizzard for my Dad
We also did same in my family growing up, and I do eat chicken feet. Lovely recipe. Thanks for sharing with us.
Yes I eat the feet it contains collagen. Very useful for the joints
This cooking brought some childhood memories. I Guess all our homes Cook same, and chin chin too, with coconut by the side of the chin chin and sponge cake, while I was growing Up. I will start our tradition with my kids. Yes sweet sister the gizzard , "ekee okuko" is is for the Elder in the House, while people like me will gladly wait for our "ukwu okuko" the pelvic part is the part reserved for the daughter. a good size of the pelvic with a little turso of the chicken 😋 Yes oo sister the chicken legs we had then, but now things have changed my kids ve not seen the legs before. And we ve fried rice, jellof rice chicken, and salad side by side on the same plate. The baked beans, salad cream, and boiled eggs make the salad extra 😋 Yummy
Yes, we eat the chicken feet here in Suriname. They are cleaned properly and sold in all supermarkets. Delicious in all kinds of soups.
Merry Christmas Zeelicious 😊and thanks for always rolling out your mouth-watering dishes 😋
Yes gizzard is always reserved for the head of the family where I come from in Nigeria 😅
Yes ooo I eat chicken feet
Always a bang from Zelicious… Compliments of the season 😋 🎉
MOBIN NATH
Yup – we eat chicken feet (sometimes called "runaways" 😂🤣). This looks really lovely! I can't imagine the level of "itis" that catches a person after eating a meal like this.
Chicken feet's and wings are my favorite parts of chicken
You mum must be a great cook, l did not know curry powder and thyme when l was younger…Our Christmas stew was just tomatoes and pepper. 🤣😂 Chicken feet is my favourite, better for bone strength has it full of calcium. 💃💃Hope you are having a great holiday season beautiful? Let's us remember the many Nigerians that may not have enough to eat this Christmas season. Thank you.
What I prepared for Christmas 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 Merry Christmas Zeelicious foods 🤗🤗
So lovely .Merry Christmas most beautiful 😘
whenever my mum boils live chicken, she will always bring out the chicken legs and give us, and also the chicken eggs. I love them so much, it just difficult to eat at times.🙂
I used to love it. My mum shares it to us after cooking the meat, before frying. I am doing same to my children.👍👍👍👍 Memory brought back.

In my family we usually eat all the chicken part except the head
Unhealthy chicken oil
The gizzard is for the head of the family in most Nigerian homes. And I have adopted that tradition in my home
