  2. Ayo seems intelligent, but limited by her incredibly misogynistic husband who puts his avoidance over what's best for his family. You can move all over the world, but your trauma will always find you. Its amazing the lengths fragile men go to avoid therapy. He married an intelligent woman, but he won't let her voice have equal power.

  3. You people need to revisit the whole 400 years of slavery thing. something no one had ever heard of until the propaganda Roots movie in 1977! No one til this day has ever seen or has known anyone thats been a slave or related to a slave from africa. you bought into this propaganda without any proof, only a movie series that was designed to deceive psychologically in order to create a massive inferiority complex, and it has. Use common sense.

  4. Ayo, I appreciated your vulnerability and I love how you supported your husband. Tony, I felt your reasoning on not wanting to return. I come in June (again) and I want a naming ceremonyโ€ฆ.looking forward to the next episode and I hope there is a season 2

  5. We raised our kids there for 10 years. It takes a good dose of common sense but our kids did very well. 1995-2005.
We all started with Adam and Eve, the human race.

  6. There are ways to know if a person is trying to marry an American because of benefits. That person should be distinguished from someone who is attracted to Americans because of the American accent or because that person wants adventure by marrying someone different.

  7. My sister Ayo I think thereโ€™s some miss explanation here, about the WORD obroni ? There is a TWI PROFESSOR the dean of school of linguistics at the university of Ghana his name is Professor KOFI Agyekum he comes on peace F M radio station on Tuesday s / Thursdays try and contact him he will educate you to understand the OBRONI WORD properly, just my opinion tho?

  8. I was really happy to hear that you guys aren't leaving Ghana. The Kelley's look like things are coming together for them, the naming ceremony made me cry it was so beautiful.

  9. You guys keep me laughing. The company will do a season 2 if they made money on season one. If the show is real successful, they will just wash rinse, repeat. Look at the Housewives shows. It's the same thing every season. By the way I watched the show on the French Max channel. They have voice over actors speaking in French, but they don completely eliminate the English.version.

  10. No need too take a so called African now. I respect my African cousins but thats there name with there lineage. If your dads last name is Jones, keep that became thats your family lineage. The white man is not important but your dad is. Keep in mind, our African cousins was complicit in the slave trade also and have never made up for that. No matter what, they see you as a different tribe too compete with. There tribes dont even fully get along so you think they love you because your in the country.
