  2. Whose dam is it ? More wars , they didn’t sign the deal. These people feels so entitled to african resources it’s not funny. Trying to bully Africans as usual.

  3. Ethiopia could have changed the direction of the Nile water for the sake of the people of Egypt. Therefore ,if you respect Ethiopia ,which is armed with heavy modern machinery ,it will be a shame.

  4. Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati stressed on Tuesday the importance of reaching a binding legal agreement with Ethiopia to operate and manage the Renaissance Dam on the Nile River, stressing that "not a single drop of water" of his country's water share will be waived.

Ethiopia has been building the Renaissance Dam on the main tributary of the Nile River since 2011, with the aim of generating electricity, but the two downstream countries – Egypt and Sudan – fear that their shares of the Nile River water will be affected.

Abdel Aati said during a joint press conference with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, who is visiting Cairo: "We talked about Egyptian water security, and that not a single drop of water will be given to Egypt, because the annual flow of Nile water to Egypt, on which we depend entirely, is not enough for even 60 percent of our annual needs, and therefore Egypt recycles water more than once to bridge the current gap."

Egypt's share of the Nile River water is 55.5 billion cubic meters annually, while "its current consumption exceeds 85 billion cubic meters, the difference being compensated by groundwater and seawater desalination projects," according to the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. The Egyptian minister stressed that "there is no room for giving up a single drop of water, because the current rates are not sufficient for our needs, and that there is an imperative need to reach a binding legal agreement to operate the dam."

  5. The Nile is an African river, Ethiopia and Egypt are also African lands, if these white-skinned settlers who currently populate Egypt are not happy they can go back Where they come from

  6. Gadaffi was the Marcus Aralyis of Africa, and Ibrahim Trore should be the president, and Julia Alema, she be The VP.
All African need to put all their tribal and Ethnic differences aside for Africa they can be the real Wakanda and Zamunda lol 😆

  7. Abiy Ahmed has been stirring trouble against all his nghbours. Now he has the audacity to complain about encirclements. Eritrea has a right to coexist. Ethiopia made it difficult to coexist because for the past 80 years. Ethiopia wants to play a role of an anchor state as instructed by the west.

  8. I think Ethiopia should benefit from Nile no question, it is their natural resource, I think both Egypt and Ethiopia need to agree on mutually beneficial agreements, having said that Ethiopia doesn’t appear to respect others from benefiting from their natural resources, instead it continuously threaten to invade its neighbours to gain port, case and point Somalia, Eritrea, etc.. How does Ethiopia reconcile this, Ethiopia call on others to respect its sovereignty while it refuse to respect other’s sovereignty… Hypocrisy at its finest!

  9. You know when Israel funds something, it usually leads to no good.

Ps. Isreal not only funds the dam, but is also actively pushing for it. It's part of Israels long war against Egypt. They're using Ethiopia like how Ukraine is being used by the West.

  10. I find this hilarious if it was for the fact these psychotic Americans have no restrain. Do these people respect national sovereignty? He is like a Mafia Don, talking to his henchmen. Crazy man from a crazy nation. BRICS will end this madness soon. Viva Ethiopia!!

  11. I stand with Egypt on this issue because Ethiopia is landlocked the water goes to other countries if Ethiopia held back the Water in 5 years we dont see Ethiopia on the map again Ethiopia will desire

  12. Ethiopia wants to annexe and colonise parts of somalia but they cry when Egypt defends it's interests. We are with Egypt 100%. Leave Somalia and Eritrea alone otherwise you will pay heavy price.

  13. What is all them white folks doing in St Peters square gyrating around a object that we know was created in the honor of a Black African King😊 What about the African men that fights these invaders only to be labeled militants. No one equip nthem properly .Man these outsiders need to just 🛑 stop stop stop

  14. Obviously with the necessary increase in energy Ethiopia could start to build the infrastructure they need for true industrial development. Their (GW) gigwatts is only about 4.2 today compared to Egypt of around 37. The GERD would add another 5.2 (GW) bringing the total to about 9.5 gigawatts or 9,500 megawatts. Ethiopia must have more energy to grow. It is just that simple. Africa the last frontier must grow. They can not keep trying to contain Africa.

  15. Will the dam not cause water issues for the other countries down stream. That could be a majot issue in places that depend on it. That's why Egypt is concerned. Especially if that their main water supply. Donald Trump is not wrong in what he is saying. It will cause severe issues for Ethiopia.

  16. Ethiopia is problem in the HoA, with the Civil War that is going inside the country they are starting war with Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, Kenya, Djibouti and Egypt. Who's next 🤔

  17. Egypt has always masters Ethiopia is free.Proud of Ethiopia.
TRUMP is unfair, even he has not true information about the GERD that it is not intended to block the water. The water continues flowing aftet hitting the terbines.Ethiopia is not living by the blessing or cursing of Trump, she has God.

  18. Ethiopia leaders have always been TRAITORS of Africa since none of yall know about the Anglo-Ethiopia Agreement in which they helped colonial British empire INVADE their neighbors in Somalia, Kenya, Eritrea, etc. Ya’ll don’t know the real history of Ethiopia except the lies from western education system who favors them over the real freedom fighters in Somalia, Eritrea, and many others.
