I was born and educated in Agadez, and as a teenage student, I use to work for those smugglers, cooking food, and making tea….. for them during their short staying in Agadez before they get ready to go. It was a very lucrative activity for me then, and I didn't know it was illegal till later on. But say what you want about this issue, the people of my city make a living from it. It's slowly become one of the main income sources we rely on to make ends meet.
