As a former St John myself I will say Mme MmaNku was called to serve God and she was a true servant of God I don’t even know if she had formal education certainly she didn’t go to theology school. Most ministers in St John they have primary school education. So I’m happy for Casper in his journey if he continues to learn deeper he will see that there’s profound spiritual teaching in St John . I think social media makes and breaks us, because messages directed to a certain people at a particular time are scrutinized by people to whom that message doesn't apply and we are left with Christians on this side and Christians on the other side. When Paul was adressing certain issues to other churches i.e (Phillipians, Colossians, Corinthians) etc….he addressed things concerning that particular church and there were no disputes because he was speaking of things they know of. Now, due to social media, we have access to messages and teachings directed to certain people and don't necessarily apply to us where we are and therefore because we don't relate, we dispute small things that need not. I remember how Rorisang Thandekiso not so long ago was crucified for a message that is true to a certain people at a certain growth stage, other people at another growth stage took it as a false teaching. As matured Christians, let us learn to scrutinize messages firstly based on is it doctrinaly correct then if it's correct, let's keep in mind the audience the Holy Spirit is speaking this message to.
