If you assume 500.000 casualties to date then allow for maimed and wounded which statistically would be a 3:1 ratio then the current estimates are, if anything low. The Rus must be pushing the million mark if not greater.

This is called wishfull thinking. Mediazone a joint BBC initiative has been monitoring Russian casualties in ridiculous detail. The conclusion as of 27.09.2024 is 71,000 Russian dead. By the same metric Ukraine stands at 750,000 military dead.

People of NATO countries, please do not listen to various Ukrainian officials who try to scare you by saying that Ukraine is protecting you from Russia. From this argument, it follows that if you admit Ukraine into NATO, Russia will start a conflict with you, but that’s not true!
I believe some Ukrainians use this argument to get more weapons, which they desperately need, but this logic is flawed! The only thing that can end this war and simultaneously make NATO stronger is inviting Ukraine into NATO and extending the nuclear umbrella over the territory controlled by Ukraine!
