  1. Love your input. But I have one question for you when you go to tap on a contact. Is there a way to have the last five or ten messages sent the names appear at the top, like the old Samsung messages

  2. If you have to present Google Messages as the best thing since sliced bread, then you need to get out more and do some really serious comparison to other chats. Frankly, the Version supported was better, which is going away in 11/24. Even Samsung Messages is better, which going away in some future date. There is some serious learning curve with this product. No so for the others. One thing I noticed is that the home screen for all the youtube videos on Google Messages is nothing like I have. Maybe that is part of the problem.

  3. Question, I was able to use Routines to set edge lighting for specific texts but I have noticed that using Google messages doesn't seem to work for specific messages. Meaning if I get a message from Jane I want the edge to be red but if I get a message from James I want it to be green. I've only figured out how to get it to be all messages. Pleas help 😊

  4. I will be switching to Google message very soon. I like to keep my texts indefinitely. Can I keep them indefinitely on my PC but erase them on my phone? Thanks.

  5. When I hit the 3 dots I don't have the colour change anywhere like you do
I have the details button but not the colour button
Am I missing something on my ph or in google messages

  6. I'll avoid Google Message as long as possible. Quick notes to you and the viewers…you are opening yourself and your device to hacking and malware with the default settings. Don't forget to deactivate the "Auto Download MMS" on all networks both cellular and Wi-Fi or you might end up getting a nasty bug. Stay safe.
I don't think iPhones internal msg network will have these issues…however if you don't adjust this setting in Google Messages and you use it on your iPhone…that I cannot say.
