Who cares if you are or not ever going to build a house in the East? Who the hell are you to matter? Rubbish!
Steven is intelligent and down-to-earth.
Good job!
Don't know about the rest of the UK but Scotland, sellers are obligated to give you a home report which contains all information about the house.
Steven is right on point about developing Real Estate being more than just the houses. I wish the developers would really try to develop as opposed to just building mansions with all manner of gadgets in gated communities and tagging them "luxury". We need decent modern houses but more importantly, we need decent neighbourhoods. The luxury mansions need to be surrounded by beautiful affordable houses otherwise, you will just be living in your mansion surrounded by slums and it defeats the purpose of luxury. In other words, developers should focus for now on building decent affordable accommodations. We are not yet ready in Nigeria to accommodate the "luxury mansions". Infrastructures first.
Why even build a house. Why not build a rental property first then use the money from that to build a second one
The east has a good real estate market places like enugu, akwa, Owerri
STEVE NDUKWU UR VERY STUPID WITH YOUR MENTALITY
Finally somebody is saying it every house real estate agents sell these days the call it luxury when it's not meant to be
I thought this guy is wise. No faith or knowledge at all that Nigeria and Igboland will be better one day, and the table turned. Other nationals can also be the ones migrating to Nigeria and Igboland.
The reason greenary is needed is for better air quality. Trees absorb CO2 and produce oxygen, which is why many villages have fresher air than towns.
You can tell he's well traveled, met different people and learned different ways …. He is wise
Must of the people that think like this guy ends up not having any reasonable things back home and at the same time his children will not be coming back home because they are not igbo centric
A house in your village is a NECESSITY. It doesn't have to ba a mansion!!!
Hahahahahahahaha 😂😂, Steve, you will learn . Unless you will never have anything to do in the east. I shall build in my country home, it doesn't matter where i live and work or do business. Abu'm onye igbo. I build in my hometown, knowing that that is where i belong, and that is where i will never be rejected .
You cant even speak igbo chaii .
They r busy demolishing houses in lagos nd your here advising people to make the same mistake haha una go learn on a hard way.
Steve if you like build from lagos to republic of chad ,when time come u go learn by force.
Because you don’t go to your village Igbo people goes to there villages for different reasons and those Igbos living in south east and doing business in the south east that goes home every weekend are you telling people when they go to their villages they will and start in a hotel or that old muddy brown house built 100 years ago by their parents when he can afford to build a comfortable home in his village.
However, my take on real estate is that buying to rent is a very bad way to invest your money! The return is far too low compared to other investments. You are better off investing your money into a high end bar or restaurant. On Lekki, I will not advise anyone to buy property there because Lekki will be totally wiped out by a flood in 50years due to global warming. So the government will do well to BAN any further house building on the Lekki part of Island! Armagaeddon calls! Rent a house to live in and use the balance to start a business and employ people!
Ah ah, wait wait, wait… Did I just hear Ihiagwa? Ah ah, Steven – You just wanna sweep that over? Ah, ah you are my broda naa… Im from Ihiagwa too… See me trouble O! na na na na na …
Very Intelligent Young Man – Steven …..
My friend, you are living in a world of city fantasy. Charity begins at home they say, hence Ndigbo builds good houses in their villages, so stop spreading this nonesense.
This guy doesn't have common sense
I love Steve. Awesome guys. He’s my favorite Nigerian content creator.
Steve makes sense….people are killing themselves with unnecessary stress just to belong to a certain class; so you see someone who cannot afford rent on the Island, struggle to get 1 year rent to stay in Lekki, then when the rent expires, they cant pay again.
Its happening all over Lekki….the estate where a friend of mine stays is half empty, many of the tenants have moved out bcos the rent went up and they cant afford it. Some even moved back to the Mainland.
Bottom line cut your coat according to your pocket not your neighbours own
Also, the villages and regional towns need to be developed to check the rural urban migration; govt should make it a policy to be siting industries in rural areas so people can stay in their locality to earn a good income.
The cities are getting choked up and its not sustainable esp Lagos…. everyone cannot be in Lagos na with such a small landmass….
