@solomonwin

IMF & World Bank are fully incharge of Economic situations in Nigeria, your Currency is gone & Hijacked for good never going too appreciate significantly.. A new leader (puppets ) will continue from where Tinubu stoped🤦🏿‍♀️

@sherff2119

Na incompetent people full una government. Dem say e b certificate forger na him we dey see na. Olodo

@LekanFaromika

Paul Alaje is always telling the truth. Oil theft exists with the government support and coffers. We are simply jokers.

@castroemeka4950

Dr Alaje my best economic analyst .The way you disintegrate your analyses gives a buffer solution .

@live4islam684

One important question I expect the interviewer to ask is where do Nigeria get the dollar to avoid floating or devalue the naira. I believe the same economists blame Buhari for over borrowing to support the naira.

@chukwumaokolo3852

Nothing this government will do that will benefit the citizens..

@vincentakinyele2490

Peter Obi strategically analyse this solution to help Nigerian problems during the 2023 campaign. The best solution to increase our export is investment in agriculture. (Immediate mechanized farming) Dangote just said it recently and this man is reemphasizimg it. With this we can increase tremendously our local food production and have left to export. Pursue this with total show down with thieves and oil cartel that are sleating our oil. By the time this is done, we will have enough money for forex and this will help stabilises our currency. Then you can critically evaluate our subsidy claim and take away corruption from it. Thank God Dangote refinery is there, so by now things would have been easier for people much more than ever. Governance is not difficult, its those people who are managing it that doesnt know anything. Yet, some set of gullible people will be clapping for them for havig structure.

@vicinitytv5834

Tinubu is killing ordinary Nigerian

@vicinitytv5834

No one temper with National currency because of a political interest like we seeing in Nigeria recently the implications is going to felt beyond dis decade

@gbengalala2064

This dumb government will never listen to you.

@abuchiorji

Africans are a unique people. We let our enemies dictate to us on how to run our economy and lives.
Only your enemy can tell you to devalue your currency, so they can give you loans.

Imagine if your bank told you, to get our loan, you must sell your goods at a lower price. It almost feels like, they don't want you to pay back the loan.
The goal is simply to destroy your economy and impoverish your people further. That is what gets our enemies to orgasm.
They can't believe that we're dumb enough to actually do it. But our elites and experts are not only dumb enough, they're wicked enough too.

Very soon, the paper used in printing the money will be worth more than the money printed on it.

Blessings to Paul Alaje for standing on common sense economics, unlike his peers who must consider him crazy.

@deejay3631

The concluding words of the journalist did not reflect the answer that Dr Alaje gave. Infact the economist proferred solutions that the journalist should have highlighted. Instead he reemphasized the problem.

@je9625

Tinubu is an incompetent fool.

@Tade734

All these oloriburuku so called leaders dont know anything about governance .. all they know how to do perfectly is to steal from their own country ..

@MrTyger2007

Now they are saying they are not the cause .Nigeria we hail thee

@charlescovenant5142

TAKING AWAY THE PURCHASING POWER OF THE PEOPLE, FURTHER SLOW DOWN THE ECONOMY AND WIDEN THE TAX NET, COLLECT MORE TAX INTO GOVT POCKET. THIS WERE THE EXACT WORDS OF TINUBU WHICH HE IS QUICKLY FULFILLING.
THIS WAS THE ONY THING TINUBU PROMISED TO NIGERIA DURING CAMPAIGN AND SOME YORUBA HYPOCRITES WERE CLAPING FOR HIM THERE. THOSE SAME YORUBAS WHO WERE CLAPPING ARE CRYING. BECAUSE ALL ANY YORUBA PERSON WHO SUPPORTED BAT IS A MAJOR HYPOCRITE. THERE ARE SEVERAL YORUBA PEOPLE WHO NEVER AND WOULD NEVER SUPPORT OR DEFEND TINUBU AND THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE SURVIVING WHILE THOSE WHO WERE CALLING THEM OMOALE ARE WEEPING NOW.

@DailyVibesHub

Has the crazy government ever say anything profitable for the nations economy?

@terverkon6808

Those people at financial derivative only agree with Tinubu and any policy that brings profit to corporations

@ltfkdk861

economic paralysis!!!

@StandardAsiaPrivate

APC ruined the economy; no doubts about it. 😢

@TeeO8080

"…..before subsidy is removed we must ensure functional refineries" Where is that written Oga Economist?
Not a single country around us is paying subsidy on Petro and they don't also have functional refineries!
Nigeria is going bankrupt because of this same subsidy (…..we have been borrowing to pay subsidy on Petro and payment of salaries).
I will do better than this man in analyzing the issues with our economy (I am a trained Economist).
We need money to do all the other stuffs he spoke about; and we also need to stop the subsidy payments to have money!
Only a MAGICIAN can make this economy better, without removal of those subsidies.
If this man is the magician; let's make him our next president.

Nothing wrong with making this country Great but why FG is suffering us?

@ceaserparanoid

Seun talks too much, allow your guests to speak. Learn from international journalist

@mtd4577

How can we stabilize Naira? Dr Alake hasn’t suggested the way out in his parting words

@ebiwariagedah6033

FGN: Endure Endure Endure, till the day no one will be able to go work again. Shutdown imminent!!!!

More money ,less purchasing power .

IT MAKES NO SENSE, SIR!

If you like share trillions. The value of the Naira can't make sense in the market.

Inflation makes it valueless.

@Noob-zi2ce

Politicians stole our money and crashed our Naira, they should return the money instead of punishing innocent Nigerians.

@Noob-zi2ce

Why should an average poor Nigerian be paying for the money looted by the political class which resulted in the devaluation of our Naira? This madness must stop!

@Noob-zi2ce

What you guys aren't talking about is the fact that our currency dropped due to looting of overprinted and borrowed money by the Buhari administration. So, these people should give us back our money. Why should an average poor Nigerian be paying for the money looted by the political class. This madness must stop!

@Akoejongma

"We will widen the tax net, reduce the purchasing power of the people, and slow down the economy". He mentioned it during his campaign.

@Alice-qz3qn

Talk all we can do

@onimisimayaki

Who are those text book economist advising the president?

@adewaleolowu5197

Oloriburuku ni Tinubu ati Buhari 😂

@osasobaretin6267

Why are economics ignoring Clearing container at Nigeria custom service. Clearing a container was way less than 7 million before it was moved to 7 million now x3. This will cost a ripple effect on every single sector of the economy as well.
Because the least tomatoes farmers or sellers want a better life of themselves and children

@abimbola1841

He didn’t answer the question 😅… Another correction: devaluation is when a subsidy is fix to the exchange rate, Floating is when the market forces determine the rate of the exchange rate. The present government is doing a floating process and not devaluation sir.. The prices of goods and services can only come down if the government devalues the naira and that’s dependent on the foreign reserves and debt factor

@ia6145

Mr Alaje, Trump tariff on China caused Americans 3million jobs in America. You got that one wrong sir
