@PandaMoniumReviews

Thanks for watching, everyone!! Sorry I took so long to make this.

One quick note, the footage at 3:48:45 is actually the Joypolis Sega Touring Car cab, though it is basically using the same tech as the life sized Sega Rally machine. The following image and video clip do in fact show the life sized Sega Rally machine. That dang Supra threw me off!!
Also, there is a typo in the Ove Andersson text, misspelling his last name by only using one S. In the US, that surname is usually spelled with just one S, so my brain did not catch that when going over the video for fixes.

@IoshyClan

extremely good video with much love and sweat in it…keep on with the good work, i loved playing SEGA Rally as a kid and hearing the soundtrack. I really love how the real celica seems to had German Dealer Plates (Red letters – H for Hannover) at some point and still keeps the Original German license plate from K=Cologne where Toyota Germany is still located. Nice Detail

@FreakinOutOnAudio

I think you put more time and effort into this video, than anyone put into the 5 minute long game sega rally!

@DannyDorito504

This is one of the greatest channels ever. This series is absolutely amazing, i truly hope you keep it going. It is a look back at at the golden age of gaming. It was such a great time to be a gamer. These videos are a great peek into that time and i love all the info you provide. Its also great hearing from people that were involved with gaming from the time. Please keep these videos coming.

@Kneefoil

You know someone loves racing games when they make a nearly 5-hour-long documentary on one.

@theSPUK901

Wow

@kiriyama83

Enhorabuena por el reportaje.
Saludos desde España.

@RAAAAAAHHHHHhh

I loved this game as a kid. I thought the cars handled so much better than Daytona, which was the main competitor.

@herbacious
@weebnerdgaming4908

This amazing review really encapsulates how much you love Sega Rally! It deserves much more views than just 58k.

@effinjamieTT

2:36:10 No fireproof racing suit, no helmet. Just a plain white T-shirt 😄

@Cory_

I love how this review comes with a free speedrun timeline as a bonus.

@rolux4853

1:54 why on earth does a Japanese Rallye team that drives a Rallye in Kenya have a official German license plate from the central German town of Köln/Cologne?

Köln isn’t famous for anything worldwide but its cathedral, but especially not for Motorsport!

This is such a weird and interesting coincidence!
I want to know why they used this specific license plate!

@TngQ6

This was such a great watch, thank you. Despite having played Sega Rally a ton back in the day, I never actually beat it. Watching this encouraged me to try MT for the first time and not only did I finally get to play through Lakeside and see the true credits, but I am just a second away from beating UNK! Soon…

@AskaLangly

I'm here for 1:00:39, maybe.

@timetravelbeard3588

This isn't a review, it's a high quality documentary. Review might actually start 3 hours in, and I'm all for it! Great vid so far

@kyotokid

Great job! 57k views atm, here's hoping for lots more!

@elgoog-the-third

@1:40:05 what is that music track? I really like it. Seems familiar, but I can't pin it down…

@AxleMyths

This deserves a blue ray release

@laurak3762

This is an amazing video. You have the best channel on YouTube, seriously! I love watching videos about these old games and seeing the way they developed them.

@peixotofabio1986

Best rally game ever

@PaulPararnoid

Wow, what a wonderful hommage to a true masterpiece! Really loved every second of it! And thanks for the recommandation of the appartment in Hungary, I don't live far away and I am now really considering going there next month! 😀

@aaronbanta6504

This game was one of my favorite Saturn games for showing off the Saturn's graphical prowess along with virtua fighter 2.

I still prefer Gran Tourismo 2 and Tekken 2/3 on the ps1 as actual games but the Sega Saturn has always had a special place in my heart.

I actually always wanted one and the day I had enough money to buy a used one (a mere $30 from EB) In 1998/1999 I discovered that Electronics Boutique quit selling them… I was heart broken. Then we stopped at a yard sale on the way home and found one with some games for $30 (vf1, Daytona, etc). I loved it and bought a few more games from eBay. I think VF2 was under $5 shipped… It was a good time.

@deathray252

Congrats on your beating of UNK! I just experienced the joys of the sub 3:25:00 two nights ago, what a satisfying journey!

@Atrahasis7

We need a version looking like the clean arcade, but with 20+ longer tracks. The sega arcade visuals are so cool and clean, it would make for an amazing game.

@paddle_my_mad_laddle

These videos are amazing

Its like someone took the editing style of emplemon, took the narration style of defunctland, threw in a whole bunch of retro vaporwave videos for good measure, and then blended it all together to give us this video

I dont say that as a slight, I say it in the sense thar you combined a lot of my favorite things

@joelpetersmedia

Super late to the party, thanks to a bunch of life stuff, but gotta say: worth the wait again! One of the things I really like about these expanded reviews is that it is dipping into the stories behind the actual people behind the games. These stories talk a lot about human nature and what it is to be in this world, which is always fascinating to learn more about, particularly as an autistic person where that stuff isn't intuitive. So Thanks Panda for the immense effort into these vids!

@K0Y0I_sis

This is a Car Culture documentary hidden in plain sight.

@MasaCheez

3:36:30 first of all, he said "Ro-ring staaaaaaaaaaaaart!". Second of all, like Pandemonium said, kick rocks Bruised Lee! That man is a national treasure.

@ryandaves1451

When you do your five hour long video on Daytona USA, make sure you find out the lyrics for the song that plays during desert city

@JDoe-gf5oz

Did I miss the chairman's rating on this?

@Mitsuraga

4:08:08 I only just now realized that this was a reference to Tails.

@SEGAFloridaMan

PandaMonium’s magnum opus.

@gertytk5528

I actually did buy Saturn just because of this game. And also Dreamcast for Sega Rally 2.

@IceDelight

Sorry if this is annoying, but here's a small correction. Those aren't screenshots of Capcom's newest fighter at 1.14.39, called Darkstalkers. Not exactly. It was Darkstalkers Revenge (the sequel), as well as Cyberbots.

@G.M.M.

Late comment, but wanted to thank you for making this! There was a 2 player cabinet at Supernova (smash bros tournament) last weekend and I spent a good amount of time on it that I probably wouldn't have done if I didn't watch this. The gas pedals were a little off (and the service manual only mentions physical adjustments to fix it, no easy digital settings), but it was still great getting used to the physics and saving fractions of a second on each run.

@georgefrankly

on the other side of the multiverse somebody is watching KOALANARCHY REVIEWS EVERY JP SEGA CD GAME PRESENTS: HEAVENLY SYMPHONY FORMULA 1993

First time watching your content. The Always sunny reference got me

@shredbraahh8606

Taking me like a month to finish this video hahahahaha. Legit.

@civrev

Bro, you can't just heart every comment.

@bingonoid

1:54:38 nice

@barryschalkwijk9388

Oh nice, a 4 minute recap of Sega Rally.

Oh god no….

@mazki72

this video is great, I'm glad i found this channel

@shimsham6

This is an exceptional review/documentary that shows a phenomenal amount of the dedicated passion and commitment that has gone into covering every aspect of this classic Arcade/Saturn title. This is the type of work and journalism that is deserving far more praise for the amount of work and time that has gone into every chapter and breakdown of this game.

@FragsONeil

It's been said hundreds of times, and rightfully so, but you did an incredible job making this! I particularly loved the interviews. It's so cool that everyone not only agreed to come on, but were so passionate about their respective topics. I can't imagine how long this took you to make. Your videos have always been really high quality but you've found a way to keep improving to new heights.

I'm leaving this video with a new appreciation for not only Sega Rally, but for Rally in general. Definitely hooking my Saturn back up tonight to learn these courses.

@Ekkobelli

No one does what Panda does. NO one. If I wasn't already glad to be a fan of that weird games company SEGA, I'd be now that I have seen the amazingness that is the 4,5h Sega Rally documentary / review. This is what YT is for. Absolutely stunning work.

@benji-menji

Mocha sent me here! Didn't expect the game to be so loved resulting in this amazing review. Honestly, it's hard to even call this a review.
