  1. just a reminder for everyone that haiti is still paying a massive debt to france for their freedom from slavery. this greatly hinders their ability to improve as a nation. google it

so blame the french for upholding their slaver policies.

  2. Don't forget this was not just a jail break , this was done by a gang to get their mates out .
Just imagine if it was you who played any and i mean any role in getting even one of them inside the Prison. This is the worst time for their families who had did good in past to get these criminals in there.
There's no saying how bad it could get.
I pray for all the innocents to be safe out there man !

  3. That prison was a human rights disaster. The conditions were horrific. Obviously violent criminals being on the loose is horrific as well but the government is to blame for this crisis.

  4. Classified diplomatic cable obtained by The Grayzone reveals the role of a veteran CIA officer in violently overthrowing Haiti’s popular President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 2004. Not surprised then that the crims were all armed with mostly new US weapons. Maybe the BBC should try reporting the truth for a change.

  5. The state was doomed to fail from the start, unreasonable debt to the french for their freedom from slavery combined with an unstable geographical location, giving them unending earthquakes and hurricanes. You throw gang warfare in there, a little political corruption and the odd coup every time a progressive gets into power and it's hard to see how they will ever create a stable state

  6. The ones staying probably have release dates and dont want to jeopardize that. They will have a second chance. The ones actin crazy are probably lifers or facing serious time.

  7. France really needs resources baaaad actually if things don't get worse, France is going to tank, idk how they're going to host the world this summer with power outages
