Hey i travelled in tro tro , in bikes and also had bolt app in my phone , all of them were good , because you get for what you pay, so it depends on situations and the amt of money you want to use for transport , seeing ur comfort , but all of them they are worth it .

Really loving this series. 👌🏼 It's definitely Uber for me. Hopefully, one day, I'll find the courage for Okada. 😅

You did not say how much your tro tro ride cost you.

What bus route did you take and how long did it take to get from one place to your destination?

@belindadei8852

eiiiii sounds like ablessing t me if you havent taken trotro in a very longggg time.

@belindadei8852

Why do i feel anytime these traders and service renders see a camera on them being asked questions they feel they need to speak the negative first or complain.

Stella ma dear even in Taxi's you need to wear your mask.In this time tro tro should be your last option infact avoiding it all together is the right move.

I remember how the taxis used to charge me double because of my accent before uber was there. If they want money they can drive uber. Correct me if I'm wrong but it shouldn't be 10 cedis from Madina to Adenta. The areas are so close!

@hahaha70263

Another great vid.

I'm sorry I could never ride in a tro tro. Too many people, in too little space… no thanks.
Maybe if it was filled with young, beautiful Ghanaian women, I might reconsider. 😉

Über drivers drives very well and polite

My personal view about transport in Ghana:

Taxi: It isn’t regulated enough, no meter so drivers can overcharge you easily if you’re not from the area. I was at Circle coach station and wanted to go to Spintex Signboard the taxi driver told me GhC 70! I knew he tried to rip me off. Yet, I want to support their business but with this kind of behavior it’s not easy.

Trotro: it’s cheap but long especially when there are too many stops. Also some drivers are reckless. Again if you don’t know the area, it’s not easy to take trotro. You can hear Lapaz, Lapaz, Lapaz… but if you want to stop at a specific place it doesn’t help either.

Uber/Yango: it’s more convenient, you just book your car and go where you want to go. No need to bargain, you know in advance the fare. Hassle free. My favourite means of transport in Ghana so far. Even though some drivers aren’t professional at all, cancelling at the last minute.

I wish we had a better transport system like city buses, like in Abidjan with season pass ticket. Also, I hope they’ll launch the light train project in Accra soon.

We are back again chaleeeeey! Stella always coming through 🙌🙌🙌. Enjoyed watching this

@wilmaferguson

When the traffic is crazy in town and I don’t have the urge to endure driving, I use trotro for long distance eg. Accra, Bolt for short distance and Okada for long distance kpakpakpa (fast) moves lol. Great video as always and btw, I love the song in the background. See you in tomorrow’s video 💕
