The city of Tijuana saw over 2,500 homicides in 2018, marking it as one of the most violent years in the city's history. This staggering number of deaths highlights the severe impact of narco trafficking, drug addiction, cartel wars, and poverty on the community.

Through an exploration of these complex factors, the intricate web of corruption and desperation that fuels the violence is uncovered. Interviews with local residents, law enforcement, and experts reveal the human cost of the drug trade and the socio-economic conditions that perpetuate the cycle of death and destruction. This in-depth analysis sheds light on the profound challenges facing Tijuana and the urgent need for solutions.

@gowdsake7103

Lets just blur everything

@TakashiLiebl

Pointless. Censorship has destroyed their own vids

There are a lot of murders in Tijuana, we established that in the first 5 minutes. One and a quarter hours later and 500 blurred out screen images we know there are a lot of murders in Tijuana…..probably the dumbest doco I've ever seen. Well done

@thelegendrush

No wonder, the Mexican gov. Is losing the battle. Give in, is there Motto.

@miguelfarias7766

I don’t believe they kill for 300 pesos lol that’s 15 dollars hahaha from what I heard I believe it’s about 1000 to 2000 dollars

@edzst.pierre3698

Get rid of Mexico.

@TheBloodworks3

Some hotels/motels & other businesses in Mexico are obviously money laundering fronts for the cartels. They even pay people to stay or occupy these places and they stand outside for hours at a time. Every few weeks the same people rotate back through. They are always in pairs of 2-4. Always just men ages 30-60. They are polite, but standoffish. They will walk away if someone tries to engage them. I lived for 2 years at various motel/hotels around Tijuana. Once you notice it, it's impossible not to recognize it. It was everywhere you wouldn't normally find tourists.

@kenfairbrother6737

America is on par with Mexico when it comes to corruption but more affluent. Most people are in denial, complicit, or obsessed with becoming as well off as the corrupt.

@IvanReal-jt4hw

Hey I have an exetremely spotless record, give me a budget I have no wife, kids. Not even a girlfriend sign me up!!!!

@marcoantonioretamoza

Pero si aquí en Tijuana BCN 🇲🇽 Vivimos Puros Santos!!! 😇😇😇😇😇

@georger2505

Places in California will become this way too. Homeless camps, hoods in LA, Oakland, etc., are very dangerous and getting worse.

@georger2505

The blurred images really detract from the video–too many of them make it unwatchable.

@Solidsnake1985

Integrate bruh that’s why it’s a pos. That’s why there so much crime.

@shaiaheyes2c41

The censorship is crazy in this. Not helpful.

@ragnaryahuwah

Yeah… but many gangs, destroys their market also. All the customers with money run away.

@WoodGuy

Growing up in Southern Calif., driving to Tijuana (everybody called it TJ), on a Saturday just for fun, was the thing to do now and then. When I was in college, some friends from college would drive down to TJ on a Friday night for fun, you could enter a TJ bar at 18. We'd park on the US side of the border and walk across the bridge to TJ. Later in life I was a consultant to the furniture industry and would arrange for items to be purchased from a TJ furniture manufacturer I met a furniture trade show in the US. I would make bi-monthly trips to TJ to meet with them. This was in the late 70's. I didn't know it's gotten this bad in TJ, watching this video is an eye-opener. Needless to say, there's no way I'd venture across the southern border, ever again.

@Tom-t8f

Warning : Stay out of Mexico .

@hssundar

All the cops who have been interviewed are corrupt and you cannot completely blame them

@BirdDogey1

I attended Cal Poly Pomona in the 80s. Running down to TJ was no big thang. 91X rules!

@lydiagallegos7420

AND THE "GOVERNOR" DO NOTHING ABOUT THE VIOLENCE IN TIJUANA, SHE IS FRIEND OF THE CARTELS…NASTY WOMAN…

@golfilloz

Cancún es peor

@davidgallegos6925

Stop doing drugs and just be happy.
Think any time you do where it really comes from and who you hurting and or potentially helping

@emiliomayosr.8253

Too much censure

@MikeSteen-ls1qp

I have suffered from the effects here in 🇺🇸, I spent 7.5 years of my twenties in prison for multiple cocaine distribution charges, guns, etc all over making $3,500 a week by selling $9,000 a week. I’ve seen both men and women die, some by intentional violence some by drug use. I’ve seen and had families destroyed from it all. When will the hard hard drugs disappear ? How much death and suffering before all people say “no more”? I have an enormous amount of empathy, good will, and compassion for the unbelievable amount of loss and suffering endured by the people of both 🇺🇸 and 🇲🇽. I am truly sorry for once being such a part of it.

@nefarian9995

Translate indonesia please 😢

@robertwomack3419

You shouldn't blur the bodies! The people should see the truth and then maybe something will be done.

@rodolfosaldivar5429

@davidfosca1044

Corruption is pronounced in mexico, it's a spiritual matter. The bloodshed and violence is a sign of a total breakdown of society. Unfortunately there are worse people than better people in mexico. Government is a reflection of society.

@alexboogam

Don't even bother watching. The censorship is ridiculous.

@ramiromolina1932

Ala chingada

@miguelmendoza6056
