It took me 2 applications and still didnt get my Nigerian travel Visa from the UK. I didn't get it on time after 6 weeks and missed my flight because they took so long and it was still refused. I have no convictions or anything i can only assume i filled in the form incorrectly but they didnt even tell me if i did that wrong. In the end i lost my money for visa and flight and holiday. I thought they were just useless. I intend to go in the next 6 weeks and still haven't a clue what i did wrong.

Just thought I'd share my experience:
First please make sure whatever is listed you bring! I arrived to the centre and the gentleman said that everything listed was not required because I am a nigerian citizen but I was applying with my Italian passport for this instance as there were no recent appointments for a passport renewal. I would still bring all documents specified, I went in they took my pictures and pre-postal order I purchased and I was done in 5 minutes. I don't think it took up to 2 weeks and I received my passport with Visa stamped inside, Surprisingly very easy process which I was not expecting. Also the appointment is not at the embassy which was wonderful as I have not had great experiences there
