We Ethiopians have the following attributes to be chosen in Brics:-
1- Ethiopia is the host of AU
2- Largest population in Africa next to Nigeria
3- 75% of us are young population
4- Ethiopia is a Key role in the world's sea tradw route, Read sea babel mendeb.
5- Ethiopia is the only uncolonized and independent organic nation in Africa.

@efremsa

How a poor host! asking Kenyan about an issue of Ethiopians participation in BRICS. 😀😀😀

@yekuno3653

Ethiopia was bailed out by the IMF and World Bank September 2024.
Let that sink in.
An economy that was bailed out by the same institutions that the BRICS is alligning against 😂

@Minte207

One thing no one understand is do you think USA AND WEST just sit and watch everything goes south, see they’re watching to start and blast it believe me , am from Ethiopia and I live outside side and I know west ppl they’re waiting for them

BRICS should act as the correct bidding solutions to the issues surrounding the Grand Ethiopia Renaissance Dam, between Egypt and Ethiopia, genuine solutions can be achieved,to foster confidence, coordination and cooperation.

ዓይነት ሁሉ ኢትዮጵያ ላይ ለምን? ተስፋ ሰጪ ነው። ቅንቅን ጎረቤት ሀገሮች አሉን ወሬ አማላላሾች።

@lewiabraha5738

BRICS countries will be left with the Arab countries and China

@Tehrantimes-i1x

@bogdanivchenko3723

lmfao

@cwaddle

US companies are capitalist vultures who will only invest their time if there is any money.
Africa is seriously being looked down by the US because they’re not interesting poor people. China is a lot fair and be willing to work with developing nations partners so I hope that African can grow together with brics

@GirmaKassa-ip7ht

Ethiopia is in the middle of civil war for 4 years. It has nothing to achieve

@birukkifle4990

Viva Ethiopia… Viva Africa 🌍

@syedhasan2017

I think BRICS are going into the wrong direction. They should only add economies who show promise and willing to do the hard work.

As Ethiopia, founding members of UN,AU and the third diplomatic country in the world ,joining BRICS+ can benefit both Ethiopia and BRICS block.

@veegtec

What I don’t get with the negative comments on BRICS is that, this is such a macro shift, no one firm let alone, person can shift its momentum.

And rather than constructively navigating how best to take into considerations their work, ideology from real/trolls’ comments are counter productive.

@shimeymerih

The BRICS invited the 100B GDP Ethiopia and refuse Indonesia with an economy of 1.2 Trillion.

The block has become more of symbolic political club of like-minded, failed, debt-ridden economies and less of the economic power it originally promised to create.

Western countries have nothing to be afraid of this.

It's a joke of a club.

@roegoleg

Very well assessed and explained by the analyst.

@joetran8798

BRICS is just another hegemony, just one involving a lot of authoritarians. They really need to stop lying to the world.

@ArabicReja973

"BRICS is a social club of failed states," evaluated economists.

@lastChang

Joining BRICS to boost the economy is delusional.
– With the exception of India 🇮🇳, none of BRICS countries has been doing well economically.

@VultureMassacre

Good. Its time to boycott western products as much as we could, and create a multipolar world where world is more fair and equal.
