A journalist, accountant or marketer etc need these IT skill to practice his profession and not the other way round ….. AI or Data Science can not do those jobs without professional knowledge in those areas
Remember when we were all learning Computer operation ….. those who only know computer operation only without any profession as Accounting, marketing, medicine, etc, end up as Computer operators or data entry typists till today
SO BE A PROFESSIONAL FIRST, then learn all these IT tools to use for your career execution …..THIS IS THE REAL TRUTH!

Print Journalism will still work in the future now they've adapted to new technological way by uploading their newspapers online which is accessible to everyone. The thing you not acknowledging is that professionals in those fields you claim will be out of job in the near future are rather adapting to the new technological change, their service will be needed for the AI or Machine learning to operate well. Did VAR replaced linesmen or rather improved their profession

Only fools would use AI to replace jobs instead of improving jobs. A "good", competitive business would always reflect of a "good", competitive economy. Such economy would be the reflection of the quality of life of the people as consumers and producers.
If technology would be used to eradicate human input from industries, then it is better govt regulate those industries and imposing a levy on those businesses that choose otherwise. One thing I love is that this AI companies are aware and they have made it necessary that their software do not fulfill preferred output as a human professional would do.
