Sadly, journalists do not study or do proper research so they can ask the right questions. Nobody cared to ask our Senate president when will Port Harcourt and Kaduna refinery start production. Dangonte is monopolizing our petroleum industry, just like what he did with cement. Immediately NNPC contracted Dangonte's younger brother to carry out maintenance at Port Harcourt refinery in December last year, I knew there will be delays and setback. Dangonte was the main brain behind cyber security levy that his friend, Bill Gate proposed to the president on the 29th of April, 2024, when he visited Mr. President. And thank God it was a failed project. Interestingly no media outlet could dig that up.

Moreover Nigeria requires 25 billion USD annually to stabilize its oil production at 2 million barrels per day. We have been grappling with declining oil production in recent years, primarily due to aging infrastructures, security challenges, and underinvestment. So stabilizing production at 2 million bpd would significantly boost government revenue and provide much-needed foreign exchange. However, underinvestment in the sector is why we are where we are today. So what is government doing to solve this problem?

@orionstretch

"Saudi aramco" if I heard him well. Is it a company or was he referring to Saudi Arabia? To Mr senate president, who imports those bad fuels responsible for the death of those you prayed for? Subsidy was paid for the bad fuels. Congrats to aliko dangote… But all of you facing the camera are responsible for the rot in this country. In due time you will definitely receive your due rewards.

Just Google, Saudi Aramco is a company in Saudi Arabia…

@ibawon

If the whole refinaries can function like Mr. Dangote's. The Naira will surely improve.

Europe dumping bad fuel in Africa and my question is , is it not African oil marketer that is purchasing it and supplying it to Africa for massive gains. Who is to be blamed Europe or African oil marketers?
