The meme of all memes
Being from Ghanaian decent, funerals are indeed very important events in our culture. Often times more up tempo than other traditional funerals. What Benjamin created even pushed the envelope further with regards to keeping spirits high during tough times.
Another great video OB, cheers!
You should check out a New Orleans Louisiana funeral. It’s very similar.
This just feels wrong without astronomia playing over it. React to Coffin Dance memes!
Watching from Ghana 🇬🇭😂
Now watch a New Orleans Jazz funeral including the "second line" dancing!
React to this y'all https://youtu.be/7zHAi8Wb7mE
We are almost through "Mardi Gras" here. FAT Tuesday is March 1st. You should check out New Orleans funeral.
I'm with Daz. That was actually beautiful and would love to have that emotion sending my memories off. We're only here once and leave once
You guys should watch a New Orleans second line funeral march
why spend thousands on a casket if its not going to get to dance a little right
The birth of a timeless meme.
It is all great until coffin falls off one of their shoulders and the body goes rolling…Horrifying to watch
You should get a load of the Ghanaian custom coffin makers. They are fantastic.
We should do this when HMTQ leaves this plain. Celebrate her life!
I waiting since this video
Creating a tradition is a genius business move. Like the modern day weddings. And now quinceañera are nearly as expensive as weddings here in California. Disneyland and McDonalds use the same plan, creating one generation of customers that pass on their tradition to the following generations.
Where I am from we do something very similar. We call it a second line. You march slowly to the grave and when you leave the grave you dance to upbeat music. Some Jazz Musicians, when they die, are usually wrapped and the casket is flipped repeatedly. People of all races have these kinds of funerals.
Reminds me of a New Orleans funeral
Mike! Also I want to be cremated and my ashes spread in Ireland.
You should react to a New Orleans Second Line.
Gents, you are late to the party. We've been laughing at these guys for a few years now
Super hilarious
You blokes should check out a New Orleans Jazz funeral, also known as a Second Line
Is there really a corpse inside?
Daz🥰 I'm a Ghanaian here and will do it free for you here in London ..I have to confess I watch you blokes since the beginning and haven't subscribed yet..😁😏
Funeral crowning ceremony https://youtu.be/qMQ4AK8CHeg
Change the music to swinging jazz and it would be New Orleans.
There is a crowning ceremony in black funeral in America too at funerals
What a beautiful way to celebrate life that has passed
Tbh this outlook on funerals intuitively always made more sense to me. Naturally, grief is to be expected in the bereavement process but funerals as an event IMO should be a celebration of someone having lived rather than the mourning of someone no longer living. Life & death are inextricably connected so what better way to honor the deceased than to come together and relive the memories and experiences shared and the appreciation of having had the opportunity.
This is my kind of funeral. i don't want sad stories. i don't want tears. i want people smiling. i want laughter. i want dad jokes being told. i want people having drinks. a celebration of life instead of mourning death.
Ghanaian here.
Any funeral in NOLA- they literally have a parade for the person. It’s interesting to watch
Hey office blokes, I've heard of the same thing or similar to it being done in New Orleans Louisiana.
Reminds me of a New Orleans funeral.
MAN I was in the front row at a funeral and took All of my willpower not to laugh at something I was thinking of.
Man I never bothered to watch the original
I wonder if they are having more fun now that the person is dead.
Finally 1st. Love your reaction
Never been this fast before lol
