  1. ❤❤❤❤ i was told negative things about waist beads and I hated i listened to them without gaining full knowledge. I want to make my own. These lovely informative comments puts me at ease. Hey I'm relearning everything in my spiritual journey. ❤❤❤❤❤stay strong beautiful queens

  2. They said a whole bunch of nothing, is it because if they say the real meaning a lot of women won’t qualify to wear them? 🤷🏾‍♂️ just asking

  3. West African beads are meant to hidden for your intimate partner to see . Black Americans and other black from the diaspora are now wearing too without really knowing the true meaning behind its premise and how it should be properly worn . My mother would tell me back in Ghana whenever she would see women expose their beads they were perceived as promiscuous. Understanding other culture is very important. As a ghanian canadian I would never jump the broom at my wedding bc that is a tradition sacred to black Americans .

  5. I was told it enhances your shape. I never remove mine and have worn them underneath my clothes. With the exception of a bathing suit at the beach, it’s out of sight except for my man.
