They also explore Crux Global’s role in backing Ghanaian music on the global stage. Are we witnessing a true rise of Ghanaian…

Your artists are one hit wonders, records can't do anything to improve your artists if they are not good enough with back to back hits.

Olele is the most jingoistic human being known. He's one of the people whose attitude misled Ghananians and killed the drive in up and coming artists by hating on Nigeria's successes.

@danseabatechnologies4573

All of the songs and new sound are still local, we don't know them here

Ghana accept that, your music can only pass through nigeria first bfr it can go global… simple fact. all show organisers are abroad are nigerians.. who no book your artist to big shows? can ghanians spend 100k dolls in a club? make una just dey local league and have peace

In 2019 when BLACK SHERIFF came out new, Ghanaians 🇬🇭 were saying just give black sheriff 2 years, he will win grammy and he will be shutting down ARENAS and STADIUMS and he will over take Burnaboy;
This mumu is now saying give black sheriff 5 years, he will take over the world 🌎;
Ghanaians 🇬🇭 too mumu.

The dancehall argument is weak. Dancehall has never been the biggest sound in Ghana or from Ghana. Shatta and Stonebwoy having success doesn't mean it was the biggest sound in Ghana.

Nigerian music and South African music are both in decline. This is an opportunity to strike.

24:22 C-real is right. We have a new sound now that hasn't yet been named. It is what blacko, paluta and amerado and ara the jay are on. It is a spin off from the asakaa movement with a lot more melody and little to no rap. The melodies are either from afrobeats, highlife or melodic rap.

There has been a big dip in Nigerian music but they don't want to admit it.

You clowns 😂 with the thousands of songs that comes out of Nigeria are you saying they all talk about odo , shitto and banku ? You lots are delusional. You always make this silly statement when referring to Nigeria music. Why not face your Ghana burial ground music that is listened to by only Ghanaians and keep Nigeria name out of your mouth

The guy is speaking facts. Ghana need Nigeria, not just in music, but in everything else you can think of. Ghana will never achieve global success in music or movies without Nigeria's support. On the other hand, Nigeria do not need Ghana for a thing, economically or otherwise. I hope Ghanaians realize these glaring facts very soon, because more and more Nigerians have began to tune-out, anything Ghana.

Let me just say that there is a rising tension between Nigeria and Ghana, and it is bubbling fast to the surface like a volcano, right now. Once this tension erupts, Ghana will undoubtedly suffer the adverse consequences, both politically and economically. Like the guys said, you must respect the Nigerians for opening their arms towards Ghanaians.
Hints: Nigeria can put Ghana in total darkness of misery if given the chance. Nigeria is very much eager to let Ghana know who the boss is, in Africa. I mean Nigeria is now more eager than ever before, to take that chance against Ghana for always being that ungrateful bastards. Remember what happened to Ghana, when Nigeria shuts down its borders few years ago? Remember the effect it had on Ghana's economy and its people?

Nigeria is 234,362,281 (millions) people strong as of November 6, 2024. Additional 30 million of them in the diaspora. Why would anyone in their right mind poison the hearts and souls of their potential markets, the way Ghanaians have been doing for the past few years? Somebody should remind Ghanaians that Ghana is too tiny to move Nigeria. You can not compare an ant to an Elephant. Everything that an ants is got, an elephant is got it more, a million times over.

Its not about forriegn in flow Nigerians globalized African music and made it the main muaic hence why they are big in Ghana and the world now!

Nigerians SHOWED you how to do it!
That is what contributed to the interest in African music!

Its funny how right when the big guy is explaining why Ghana Music needs Nigeria to get growth 55:15, Olele suddenly ends the conversation. It's clear he didn't wanna accept hearing that solution. 😂

Ghana let your artists make their personal efforts. Trying to push anyone that is not ready to work will be counter productive. Help those who wants to help themselves. You people are talking and not doing the talking. Nigeria artists are on their lane minding their hustle. Keep to yours.

I'm glad he called out C-Real. C-Real used to be the one on the show that saw nothing right about the Ghanaian industry. For him, everything was a comparison with other industries and how ours was crap in every aspect. Now that the other industries he used to champion have tanked, and our young lads are doing better, he is mostly quite during discussions. Support your own; others will never care for you no matter how much you fan-fool them
