The Dahomey made most of there money killing and capturing thousands upon thousands of members of there own race and either kept them or traded them to the white man….
They even wanted to carry on slavery after the British and French had asked them to stop….
The British had to blockade there ports to get them to stop….
Then the French had to got to war against the Dahomey to end there slave capturing and trading, in that battle the French won very very easily….
Why make a movie that glorifies a tribe that enslaved and massacred whole villages?
Boy I love propaganda movies glorifying slave traders and rewriting history to make them the good guys.
