2.2Millon GHC is even too much for both houses. Just look at the countrys infrastructure. Im not buying a 100k house and going to live with dumsor and polluted water through to galamsey everyday

wishing this was not happening now lol …. how are nationals earning an average of usd$200/month evolving into affording this market? even the middle class in NYC can somehow find a way into a million dollar house. and that average salary is at least $5,000/month. looking at the math … a family in nyc with two working parents earing usd$10,000 between them both can barely afford a 1mm house. yet they will find their way and catch up later via equity as it appreciates. the average national of ghana will never be able to look at these houses.

now as for the ones that can … where is the value in the 2.2mm house …. all the land perhaps $75,000 and the complete build with not so lack luster finishes not exceeding a few hundred thousand usd, 250k tops. what justifies 2.2 mm? independent power system via solar and wind? bore hole with filtration system? total off grid capacity (outside of a generator)? fruit and nut trees already in place and bearing with the season?

trasacco is out of their mind. you can take 2.2mm in ghana and build that house with that land at less than $500,000 in prime areas. their target market is the super rich in the country of foreigners (who legally cannot OWN the land). They are given lease rights for 50 years and the renewal is subject to the OWNER agreeing with a renewal at 1% fee of the market value. if you pay 2.2 for this house and 50 years later it is worth 5mm … you think the owner will renew the lease for a 1% fee? or will the owner end the lease and RESELL the house at the market value. So in essence, you are paying the owner and reinforcing their generational wealth while simultaneously derailing your generational wealth. as you will not be able to pass on the equity to your kids of family.

Which brings us back to who the hek is buying these houses in ghana … where the super skilled jobs are paying usd$350/month. thanx for the vid Vanessa … it's all a matter of choice in the end. Medasi

I prefer seeing something more reflective of traditional African Culture. If you see a house from India or Morocco or China or Japan etc. you know where it is from. These houses could be anywhere from the west to me.

Total waste of space. We need more innovative architecture.

I thought the first mansion would have a double high ceiling living room with an open plan design…even though the exterior looks timeless, the interior will be outdated pretty soon there’s too many walls and pillars..but overall the house is pretty eye catching ..

Africans need to stop obsessing over what other countries are doing. They can be original and try to preserve traditional architecture which I rarely see, with the help of more experienced architects
