The African AMERICANS ARE NOT SLAVES , THEY WERE KIDNAPPED BY CRIMINALS AND FORCED TO WORK . ITS TIME THE FAMILIES THAT KEPT THEM COMPENSATE them for the CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST THESE NOBLE PEOPLE.

That graveyard made me sad. No names 😢. What an incredible thing to happen it was meant to be that they own this house and uncovered they had a connection.

Gosh that house was so incredibly cheap ! . Wonderful that they fell in love with it and restored it instead of it being sold to developers and probably being demolished .
What a wonderful story ❤

What a remarkable story. To think that their ancestors where forced to be there and went through so much pain and suffering and now their descendants get to reunite in Joy and celebrate and appreciate each other and honor their ancestors. Just remarkable and what a beautiful full circle that is. ❤❤❤

He was blessed to be put in the position to close a family circle and heal a family from the generational trauma of Slavery and more. It's just incredible that he was able to buy the home and turn it into nothing less but a Family home.

I saw this story when it first came out. I'm glad I saw it again here. It affects me just as strongly the second time around. I am a 68 year old white woman raised in Maine. Starting at about age 12, I started researching and reading everything i could find about African Americans and slavery. (We were taught NOTHING in school!) Thank you for sharing your story, and wanting to allow everyone to come and visit Sharswood to learn. It is so important that we all know the true story of our country's history, so that we may love and respect each other. Im so glad that this happened for your wonderful family!

Wow ❤❤❤❤, this story should be made into a movie.

@theresaosarenren5498

😢 The enslaved were not allowed to keep their African identity.
This has robbed them of their names, language, and culture. It is so sad to hear from what the colonialists did to Africans.
Thank you, Jesus, for leading them back to their roots.
