WE WERE SO FED UP WITH LIFE IN THE UNITED STATES, SO WE RELOCATED TO GHANA FOR SOME PEACE!!

Hi guys, we’re back again with another episode of the motherland series. Today we had the opportunity to talk to the wonderful couple Jamie and Charlse, together as the Ivys. They lived in the US, both worked in the health sector, they have a beautiful family also. But it got to a point they just felt they need to spend the rest of their life…

Looking at how the development is going, very soon all the vegetation would be gone, just like all Ghana real estate developers do, clear all trees, level up all streams and creeks to get more land area and maximize profit.

well its a good news for them.. how ever.. i feel like they moved in at the wrong time.. moving in after the election would have been better for
everyone who wants to move to Ghana.. my reason is,, i am not sure of this years general Election and i am very serious about it… though ghana always had a smooth and peaceful election over the past years.. but definately not this years election from the look of things…my reasons are many but one reson i feel its not going to be an easy smooth election is because the NPP are not and will never be ready to give out the power in case they lose because they sure know very well that they stole and loot soo much and many of them are going to be in the hot seats in the give out the power..if you know what i mean. ..plus the opposition party are also not and are never going let things slide in case the win or victory is on their side but the Ec would want to play any games.. they going to fight for their right with full force this time and i feel its going to be very scary.. my opinion though and i pray everything goes well..

I am a Nigerian who moved to the US 30 years ago. I thank God that America welcomed me and I was able to find work easily .I came with a foreign name, accent and college degree and yet I was able to walk into interviews and have Americans give me jobs . I am grateful that when I needed more work when my children were in college that work was available in America . Stress is what people experience in West Africa when they cannot get one job to support their families, let alone two . When they do not get paid for working for months which happens commonly in West Africa ! When their salaries are barely enough to feed their families!! . Black Americans have no clue how fortunate they are even with all the racisms in America !!
