I understand your concerns, but staying idle is not the solution. Many people sacrificed their lives for our right to vote, and we shouldn't diminish this freedom due to our legitimate calls for reparations. As a Black male Democrat, I acknowledge that we deserve compensation for the injustices we've faced. The struggle must go on, but I refuse to relinquish my voting rights under the belief that it won't make a difference. Its sad to see us split so strongly on this issue. I respect your feelings, but we must find another way.
