I love watching your travels – reminds me of my trips overseas – it sucks getting sick at times- looks like you survived well. Beautiful couple.

@DoloresJNurss

It's always sobering how other countries face their dark pasts, when here in this country we've got states passing laws to prevent schools from teaching about ours.

@petesheppard1709

I remember the 'Whites and Colored Only' signs in Alabama back in the early '60s. As a white child who played with black kids, it didn't make sense.

@despereauxxx

I've wstched all your videos visiting Cape town.. We have a lovely country and I would reccomend you to visit The Panorama route and Kruger National Park. You van take a plane to Skukuza and take a shuttle to the Kruger or a private guide
Trust me, you haven't seen South Africa if you haven't seen this part of our beautiful country
I will even be your guide throughout the tour !
You need someone that know their way around
Please come again!

Okay, everything about that Ethiopian restaurant was so neat! And I loved the hand washing! Why don't more restaurants do that?
You can tell she puts a lot of love and detail in everything. I don't know about the taste of the food, but in my opinion, it's the coolest restaurant as far as the look, the little presentation things, her attention to teaching you guys, the fact that her sweet mama sends her authentic spices, etc. Yeah, just very cool!
By the way, it sort of sounded like you had a Bulletproof coffee with the butter and maybe it was MCT oil they put in it?

Ethiopian food rocks and I am from Ethiopia

@christieteague3155

The District 6 museum is a MUST do for anyone traveling to Cape Town! I've been two different times and each time is a different, eye opening, gut wrenching experience. I highly highly recommend!

@michellemunn7959

I love Ethiopian food. I was friends with some people from there years ago and had injera which is fabulous but spicy

@jaydiemert1773

I want to wear the happy hat 👒 that came on your food. Enjoy your cup of steaming urine. 😁😁

@aimeewright2721

I don't know if the name changed, but it's called bulletproof (here) and when I've seen people drink it, it's butter, coconut oil, and salt.

@raaycheel9622

I know this was from 4 years ago but I was in Cape town in 2018 and i’ve been to both the District 6 Museum and Truth Coffee. I still have my coffee beans from there ❤️❤️

Interesting food. Would have liked to try it. 🙂 Fancy grilled sandwich looked yummy too.

@ruthseifu5834

As an Ethiopian I feel very proud. Our food is the best

@Skittl1321

I met a south african woman at a conference two years ago who was telling me that because I had textured hair, if my (white) parents had political enemies they could claim I was black and have me taken away. She told me about the "pencil test", which I couldn't pass (we tried). To be white, the pencil had to fall out of your hair. Apartied was really horrific for so many, and lasted way too long.

@shubhsharma6952

Love the videos

@PradeepthaObeysekara

The coffee bar is more of a museum than the apatheid museum :v

@brandijohnson164

The Octopus card is from Hong Kong, and the bag is showing Chinese, not Japanese. Great to watch all your old videos!
