Noah, dein isiXhosa ist gut, die Einheimischen freuen sich immer wenn man ihre Sprache spricht. Ein Deutscher der Englisch mit einen Amerikanischen Akzent spricht. 😉

Been to South Africa many times. Never had anything bad happen to me, people were always nice and friendly. Mind you, I was cautious about where I went and at what time of the day or night. Did see some bad stuff happen to other people, fortunately nothing like a shooting or stabbing. One time while getting petrol, my wife went inside to use the facilities and buy a drink. I paid the pump attendant in cash. When my wife returned, we had already driven off about 500m when she said that she had paid for the fuel by credit card inside. So we turned around and went back. The pump attendant already figured out that we paid twice, he had the cash in a zip-loc bag in his pocket, ready to give it back to me. Good, honest hard working people. And this was at a place that was not exactly in what people would consider to be a "safe for tourists" area. There's good people and bad people regardless of where you go.

I like your videos more than the other ones that seem to focus on the bad in the townships. There is bad in the world but it can be anywhere. Your videos prove being open to listening and learning about other's culture/language breaks down that negative focus. I loved South Africa and found the people there black, white, coloured all very friendly when you meet them with kindness and openness about their lives. Keep doing more videos!

If this slum is in China, china would change all these in to building in one week there is nothing that china can't do. World troubled by Muslims immigrants and religious domination, china handled so well. 😅
