It would be interesting to do a "blind test" to see if folks can pick out which guitar is which. I'm willing to bet it would be in the realm of statistical inconclusive. In other words, just guessing. 😄Both sound fantastic, but not much different IMO.
The BG 152 is in the class of the Authentics and D42. Boucher has Incredible build quality.
The Boucher is $6000+ and the Martin is $2000+! No brainer!
Both sound good. But I would choose Boucher over a Martin every single time.
Two years ago, I sold my Martin D35 to pay for a Boucher. No regrets what so ever.
I wonder whether the Boucher setup is slightly lower than the Martin's, making the treble of the Boucher suffer in comparison to the Martin.
To me, the Boucher sounds better – more defined. Both are great though.
Boucher sounds better to my ears.
Send me 1 of each and I'll get back to you in 10 years.
Both are Nice!!
Martin has it tho!! 👂🏻
