Man! I have now made this cake THREE days in a row! Today and yesterday I added some chopped pecan nuts and a good sprinkling of cinnamon. (I also upped the sugar a little!) Sheesh but this is a SUPER recipe! And SO easy to make!

Its 6th November 2024 and I have just made this cake for the second time. It popped up on my feed and I thought 'Cake!' And made it. This time I made it in my little toaster oven and it came out SUPER. Tea and good old 'plain cake' as my grandmother (1891-1980) used to call it.

What flour it is
I made it even though I didn’t have baking powder I tried to substitute it for something else and it came out nothing like this

It is a bakwas recipe or i don't know what I didn't do right because i followed each and every instruction plus the exact measurements still the cake didn't turn out as it should be like that of a bakery.

Why my cake not become brown from upper side😏
The prep for this cake itself takes over 10 mins and then baking takes another 30 mins so how is this a cake in 2 mins. Stop with such ridiculous misleading titles.
