  1. Again, It's one sided report as its predecessors. Though it's true facebook aggravated the war, its also one sided posting mostly from Tigryans abroad. Some of them resides in Kenya, Uganda and of course around the globe.

  2. Sadly the Tigrayan population is small and other side has many people spreading misinformation. Anyone interested should see “the Tigray genocide” on social media with overwhelming evidence.

  3. Thank you for this insightful reporting. I hope all lives were valued the same. If this was not in Africa, META’s failure would have had serious consequences. But never give up. Justice shall come

  4. The fact that you see so many comments here trying to justify the Tigray Genocide is self evident of the impact of misinformation and disinformation that widely spread against Tigrayans.

  5. Your story is one-sided, biased, and inaccurate. The battle began when the TPLF junta took over a military facility and slaughtered Ethiopian soldiers while they were asleep. Not to mention their refusal to respect government rules and regulations, as well as their ongoing disregard for the government's efforts to defuse ethnic tensions across different parts of the country, which were initiated by the TPLF while they were in power.

  6. REAL REPORTING HAS DIED. Why can't you bring both sides of the story to your viewers. What your doing is no different from what Facebook is doing the only difference is you guys are doing it on purpose.

  7. Es ist sehr traurig , dass nur wenige Medien davon berichten. Abiy Ahmed praktiziert Genozide an Tigrische Volk. Er muss vor Gericht stehen Millionen Menschen Blut ist geflossen . Er macht das gleiche mit Amhara Volk.Wo ist die Gerechtigkeit?

  8. Abiy ahmed is the great leader who terminates and teaches TPLF that actions have consequences. He made Tigray pay for their contempt they have over other regions. They think of them as superior warriors than others and they started war on Ethiopia. Then what ? ENDF made them cry. DW is working against the Truth. Most of medias including this one don't research the matter properly and they say we made a documentary. That's why Trump hate medias and journalists.

  9. Misinformation kills. With social media becoming the main source of information, there is an increased need for moderation. Thank you DW for this documentary. Social media caused people's dehumanisation, deaths and led to the ripping of Ethiopia's social fabric. I hope that what happened during the Tigray War is a learning experience. My heart goes out to all the victims incl. the moderators.

  10. As a Palestinian, I would say politicians and social media need to be appropriately verified. Biden spread the lie of 30 beheaded babies on Oct 7th and systemic rape, which allowed the world to justify and even support the massacre of 20 thousand Palestinian children – with hundreds beheaded in a matter of months by Israel, and the rape of Palestinian hostages held in Israeli concentration camps and prisons. We stand with the people of Ethiopia. And stand against Meta, lying presidents and politicians, and social media platforms that spread lies.

  11. I know that the Eritrean dictator also had a hand to play in this. But let this be a wake up call to all my fellow Tigrinya in tigray. Don’t let this treaty with amahras or the Ethiopia gov blind you. Let us the Tigrinya people be united and created a United stated free of these exploiters. Never Roget or forgive

  12. thank you so much this is a huge help for the tigryans. but the one who should be accountable is not social medias like facebook or other social media platforms but the government of ethiopia and the military leaders of ENDF, AMHARA AND ERTREAN FORCES.

  13. The people of Tigray are paying the price for the policies of the TPELF gang's rule of Ethiopia for thirty years, all of which were genocides against other nationalities, especially against Somali nationalism.

  14. When the dead are silent, the killer talks a lot. The people of Amhara and Afar, who have suffered and suffered because of Tplf, are silent, but the killers are still agitating today, asking why they were silent. The government that killed them, but they are still pointing at on the Amhara people today.because of their hate. Shame😢😢😢😢😢
