Ghana police vs Nigeria police at Checkpoint during search

1. Yes the police has the right to do a search, such they term as "random search".

   Here in Ghana, the police is held responsible for any action taken on the citizens that is why they make every effort to comport themselves in order not to lose their job. ( because the IGP is a no nonsense man, and also the police are well taken care of with and enough salary 4000 a month is OK so loosing your job will be very bad)

   Unlike Nigeria, the police has all power to do everything and will not be held responsible for it that is why our police is more comported in taking action than Nigeria.
