When you elect a President it is the same as electing a CEO of a company (Kenya).
We need to come to terms that we made a mistake electing Ruto as president. To him the presidency is just another way to enrich himself , live the good life for himself, family and his chronies' and not doing the work of a CEO.
What is the first thing a CEO does when they lead a company that is in distress?
1. They look at the books of the company and see where they can improve the overall perfomance of the company on behalf of its shareholders (kenyans).
2. They dig deep to see where the weakest link is that is preventing the company from maximizing on its potential (profits).
3. They look and see which systems will bring them the best effeciencies to serve their consumers better (Kenyans)
Solutions:
They carry out a forensic audit to be informed where the problems are. The audit will inform them of :
1. Where to reduce or cut unecessary costs where needed (expenditure and wastefulness).
2. Where to Seal any loopholes where the company is losing money (corruption of 2b a day).
3. Put system to create efficiencies inorder to serve the consumers better (Kenyans).
When Ruto became president we had hoped of him acting as a CEO. But he has failed Kenyans miserably. Instead of acting like a CEO, by stopping the bleeding, he has continued taking the path of Kleptocracy. Stealing, wastefullness, increased unecessary expenditure benefitiing him and his chronies and those in position to steal tax payers money.
It does not matter how many places Ruto goes (tanga tangaring) commisioning projects while his house is on fire, because the opportunities lost by not stopping corruption,waste and unecessary expenditure are so many. Paying Doctors, teachers, funding of free education , providing basic social ammenities like clean drinking water, good roads, affordable housing, health, Creating a conducive environment to do business and create jobs are all lost in the bigger picture of things.
