@dorothybranch3731

Thanks for the tip

@kodeh7931

Don’t get sick while in Ghana. I mean the video is nice and all but umm…still, don’t get sick while in Ghana. The govt hospitals are death traps. Try going to a govt hospital for a life threatening emergency, we will be reading your obituary the following week.

@wellbodisalone

It was a very informative video!

@adwoamirekua8349

*929# to renew. Make sure you renew on time, not when you are ill. Renewal takes effect immediately when done on time and takes effect after 1 month when delayed.

@richardatu3611

Charley we all dey Ghana here, Ghana node sweet is u de talk, this giant thing for ghan I nodelike am because we re not giant

@freshwoode9976

Pls if the government of Nigeria don’t hv an amount of money to be paid by the citizens to be taken care of in a yr then it’s a shame .

@freshwoode9976

Do All Nigerians hv health insurance where u can Jxt go to hospital n be cared for?
Do u enjoy free education?

@aldrake

The private Hospital also accept the NHIS Card too… 2nd time watching this video😂😂

@collinsfrimpong2768

In Ghana when you go to hospital, the first question you will hear is where’s your health insurance card.

@nurseakanbi2345

There is health insurance scheme in Nigeria but it is underutilized. Thanks for sharing your experience with Ghana healthcare system. I am a Registered Nurse practicing in Nigeria

@nursekarimatcanada

Our mother land is doing great 👍🏾 that this is why I love Ghana 🇬🇭

@victoriaamankwaa586

Good 👍👍👍👍🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭

@awalcare9625

Thanks for this video. I am a primary care physician in Lagos, Nigeria. There are lots of private and public health insurance schemes in Nigeria. Unfortunately, many citizens don't know how these ( insurance schemes) operate (lack of awareness) and some will even say they hardly fall sick so they don't need to enroll into health insurance scheme. For instance in Lagos state, there is Lagos health insurance scheme (Ilera Eko) that can be accessed by all residents.
Globally some health care workers are rude why some are not. Also in clinical practice there's prioritization of patient care (TRIAGE) and this is done in every standard health care facility.

@larrysq8937

Over here in Japan everybody has health insurance whether you have visa or not since you staying here don’t intend to go back to your country sooner you must get it, else you can’t afford the hospital bill without insurance

@moneymakers8753

Subscribing from Ghana

@minimadey

The healthcare system of both countries can be better.

@truemamle6184

Hmmm Ghana to whom you know is still working, is not about the language is the system

@larbijosephadu4415

I don't think Nigeria will ever go back to the 1970's when Nigeria is Nigeria when by then one naira is equal to one dollar because Nigerians of today every body feel is a superior and that's what is sinking Nigeria

Nigeria is not bad but needs some change and Nigeria will come back stronger than ever before God bless Africa

@vab1431

My dear the reason why it's not first come first serve might be that a nurse or doctor knows that particular patient or probably an emergency situation but not because you cannot speak the language.

@andybrown5817

Ghana is moving forward in life. Ghana is a pase setter and a leader in Africa. Though Nigeria is a big country but Ghana is a a leader in every spy of. Ghana lead Africa to set the pase for freedom

@elizabethnyarko6736

Lily keep doing this May be this will help Nigeria government to improve and help its citizens

@MrsCubsDen

The fact that they even have a health insurance for all citizens is so respectable and I hope our ogas at the top in naija do same ooo!
The fact that it even covers residents is very plausible. I wonder how it is sustained for non-Ghanaians though!
Nice analysis with the pros and cons of gov and private hospitals! You are paying private hospitals for their speed and attention😎 especially if it is an emergency

@africanprincessrams

Here i Botswana almost everyone goes to government hospital because the same treatment you get at private you will get in government hospital. And some private hospital will tell you to go for government hospitals for some major decision makings. But is good to go for private because they will be no cures and at times the quality of everything will differ even if the medication seem to be the same. You shred the important points right there sis. Merry Christmas to you and your family

Ghana is working again charlie 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭health insurance is working good

@aldeelollah5732

30 cedis by a million people, it take care of the population. It known that there has a mixture people in Ghana for over the years, why not there will be health insurance. Why will be surprising. Nigeria is a failed state that needs to change.

@AlkebulanJahmiah

👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿💯💯💯👈🏿

@couragedk1

Health insurance card is 30cedis and need to be renewed every year. I got my card in less than 2hours

@Mariamlamzy

Before you can enjoy that in Nigeria you have to be a government workers

@Mariamlamzy

Thanks for the information, happy Christmas in advance.

@paintsildesmond8495

It is very helpful

@agbekoandrew4112

The waiting time before you see a doctor at the A and E here is at least 4 hours and at least 6 months to get an appointment at the hospital, one to two weeks for an appointment with your GP.

@OloriRenoma

The system consider those who can't afford private clinics now that is superb. Waiting is almost everywhere .

@samzakiy835

Everything in Ghana🇬🇭 is a shocking to Nigerians bloggers , gee when will this stop 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@kob6574

You are right lady. The government hospital here in Chicago is worst. Expect to be there all day when you're sick. They're very slow.
