Regardless of what you think of Trump, this case was an absolute joke. When a crime is commited, we have to ask "who is the victim?" In this "crime", the answer is that there was no victim. It was an incredibly creative interpretation of the law by the prosecution, and now they have made a martyr of Trump, who will now be able to more legitimately brag that he is the victim of political prosecution.

Disparaging the verdict of the jury is kind of messed up.

And he just happens to be convicted the year of an election when he is polling ahead of Biden.
And the Judge and jury are clearly democrat voters. The judge also having stated long before the trial that his entire goal was prosecuting trump.
This makes Biden look very very bad even if he may not have had anything to do with it.

If Trump wins I fear he'll use these trails as an excuse to make changes to the judiciary giving him at least lasting immunity and he might go as far as consolidating his power. He might use these trails as an excuse to use the judiciary against political rivals as well.
It's hard to believe so many Americans still support that demented, delusional, criminal. How far from reality can they get. Biden is no great option either, but come on.
