Sisiyemmie I must visit your home to eat one of your delicacies, that egusi reminds me of my teenage years when my parents take us to our hometown once in 3 years and that egusi soup was always the order of the day. I love love this❤❤❤

Looks good, I think it will be worth saying where the soups come from cause "Nigerians" eat or cook egusi differently to the "regular".

I tried the regular egusi soup for the first time and it was like I have been cooking for yearssss
Thank you Sisi Yemmie for your wonderful teachings❤️❤️

Please ma I need the book and am living lagos please can the book be delivered to me

@cherishedoliviaTV

I will try the egusi peper soup receipie 😅

Well-done SisiYemmie. For the Egusi Ijebu soup, we don't use iru but rather we use Ogiri for it, except if the individual cooking it prefers to use the locust. Majority of the Ijebu people will use Ogiri. Thanks for the video

Sisiyemmie of the most high when it comes to food 🥘 much Love 💖

@jokebalogun6932

Please over the years the use of locust beans has been abused thoroughly to extent that it has lost its original taste, when you use the original iru you don’t need any artificial seasoning for your soups, because the iru itself is enough, but what we have now is washed iru that has lost its local original full of benefits taste, so very bad. It just a pity that this generation will not get to know and taste the original iru.

@lil-sly5832
