  1. not me getting excited with yall on the elevator at the end of the video…I would have been mingling with the locals on the rooftop party looking for Kofi cousins😂

  2. We were there during the same dates that you were there and yes many days with electric turning on and off. My husband expressed how sad it is because peoples homes catch on fire because it burns the wires. Glad that you went and got things done.

  3. I know you went to enjoy yourself but Throughout the whole video I was just thinking to myself, why don’t you talk a bit about business ventures in Ghana? And at the end you brought up the light issues. This is an opportunity for us the new generation to solve. In Africa, the population is growing while the electricity supply is low. No one is investing in the areas of energy….we are all waiting for the government to do it. I, myself have decided to move back home and work for the greater good of my country. America is great but issues here are already solved unless you come up with a genius idea and running a business here is tough as nails with regulations, bureaucracy and laws. I encourage young people today to invest in changing Africa for tomorrow.

  4. Hey Michele, really enjoyed the vlog and good you too enjoyed your stay in your motherland! I am from Uganda and we too used to experience that power issue (load shedding as we call it here). Nowadays its rare.

  5. I loved every second of this vlog so much! I feel like I have to go to Ghana & do it right cus this looked so much fun. Thank you for bringing awareness to “dumsoor” and bringing us along on your trip!! 💕

  6. The way my mouth was watering watching you enjoy the banku and tilapia. Ooh god!

In reference to “Lights Off” fortunately I was spared from that last December but the water supply getting shut off….That was every other day. It was super unpleasant and brought back memories from my childhood.

  7. Heyyy Michele
