It seems as though a boy friend in this country is put under so much pressure to take care of his girl friends family,. Not even being a husband and the family,y require so much. This is why so many don’t want to marry. I have also seen in these movies that a family could have an adult son who will not work but they want the daughters boyfriend to pull all the weight as if it’s his responsibility,This kind of thing does not happen in the USA nor will any family knowingly allow their son who is dating a girl to be responsible for her family. It’s alright for him to pass off a gift but not monthly support or build houses for them. Not even a husband will take on that kind of responsibility. Help out occasionally, yes. Permanently, no.
